Pug Pile

I always love it when Benjamin, Henry & Luna smoosh together even though they have plenty of room to spread out. They act like this is the only sunny spot in the house.
With it being so hot lately, they have been doing a lot of laying around. We have been going for walks in the evenings which have been great. Last night we got about 3/4’s of a mile away from home and the sky behind us began to look a bit ominous so we turned around and contemplated on taking a shortcut back home. After some debate, we took the shortcut and made it home 7 minutes before it poured down rain. It was a fun little race against Mother Nature.

Nothing beats a pile of pugs to make you smile! Sleighbelle does that with me in the bed, she could be anywhere else, but no, she wedges herself underneath me. But of course, I really don’t mind.
They make me think of a 3-pug pyramid! What teamwork! And it’s a good thing Luna’s at the top. She’s too little to be a pyramid base : )
Nothing sweeter than brotherly and sisterly love…
Gus does that too! With all the space. he needs to lay down on Indy (who is less then half his weight!)
Ahh yes, I have been out in many of those walks and usually there is no point in putting on a rain coat or grabbing an umbrella..
Can I ask, how do you walk 3 dogs at once? Is it always the 2 of you? Do you use retractable leashes or just the regular ones? Thanks!
So sweet- a little pack of puglets!
You can REALLY see the size difference in little luna belle! That little peanut!
Pile O’ Pugs! That’s too cute. Adrian likes to lay on the back of the sofa just behind my head and likes me to use her back left thigh as my pillow and personal head rest! Freaky little girl!
I have finally moved to a neighborhood where I can walk my precious 2-year-old girls. Any pointers on how long or how far a pug can walk? I’m in Ohio so it’s about 60 degrees in the evening. Thanks!
Lex - At night it is usually the two of us that take the pugs out and we generally use retractable leashes. I have a love hate relationship with retractable leashes, but on our long walks at night we always end up using them. During the day, I frequently take all 3 out at the same time. When it is just me I use 6 foot leads as there is no way I can juggle 3 retractables.
Laura - I would take cues from your pug on how far you can walk. The boys have been going on long walks since they were pups so they have no problem walking several miles if the weather is right. Surprisingly, Luna can walk forever! It just really depends on your pug. You don’t want to overdo it so I would just suggest taking a few short trips and seeing how your girls react. Are they panting very hard? Are they stopping? How do they act the next day? Hope this helps.
SOOoooo adorable!
Your pugs are so prescious. My pug daisey takes all of the room in the bed. The smaller the dog the bigger they hog!
