Ben Ben
In the morning, Ben is such a sleepy head. Henry and Luna are not morning pugs either, but unlike his brother and sister, Benny always gets up to go to work with me. All the pugs get up for breakfast, but Henry and Luna quickly retreat back to bed after their last bite of banana. Benny, on the other hand, always accompanies me to my office. Granted, he finds a comfy spot and falls back asleep, but I think it is sweet that he at least pretends to go to work with me. Henry and Luna always come to work with me too, they’re just usually a few hours late. Good thing I’m not a tough boss.

I’m not a morning person either. Our pugs would be right at home with you in OBP-land. Here, daddy gets up earliest and walks the guys and feeds them. Then Rascal usually stays with daddy while he gets in some PC time before work while Biscuit comes back to bed with me. When daddy heads to work, they see him out the door (after getting a small treat of course) and then they come back to the bed to wake mommy for work. I call them my little alarm clocks.
Benny just wants to be where his mommy is. He may fall back asleep, but I bet if you move about he is aware. In whatever room I’m in, Romeo is in so I always know where he is.
Had quite a scare last night. My lawnman who is very conscientious did some extra work last night and left a gate open. When I let the babies out for their last run last night, one returned, but Romemo didn’t. He was found a half block away near a busy 4 lane street. Thank you St. Francis for watching over him and for good neighbors who saw him.
Oh Sue, I bet you were scared out of your wits. I’m so glad this had a happy ending. Not just that he wasn’t hurt, but that he wasn’t pug-napped either.
My yard guys are good about the gate too, but I always double check—I don’t want the scare you had! Thank you St. Francis!
My babies are morning pugs. From the moment I’m up at 5am, they’re jumping and running around wanting to be apart of what I’m doing…from going to the bathroom, getting dressed, etc. They’re so crazy. But at night they’re zonked out in the kitchen snoring. Silly puggadoos!
I’m sure that what’s happening is just a division of duties. Ben’s the on site manager (managing you) and Luna and Henry are probably brainstorming to come up with new ways to assist you in your work. They probably need a less structured working environment than your office provides. (Namely the bed.)
That is so cute! Gus wants to be near his mom too.. although we have moved out of the must constantly be touching phase.. well almost!
Oh no Sue! Indy has escaped out of our yard too and I couldn’t find her anywhere, no one had seen her. I was walking back to the house to call my husband that his baby has run away or been stolen when she comes out of the bushes by the train tracks!!! They are no longer unsupervised in the backyard!
I walk my pug at 6:00 every morning because he has to be kenneled while we are at work/school… It’s getting to the point where I have to draaaaaaaaaggggggggg him out of Katelyn’s warm soft bed… lazy pug!
...or snug pug, as he sees it!
I too would be frantic if Mr. Skittles got away, so glad Romeo was watched over and returned to you safe & sound.
Talk about a pugs great adventure away from Mom & Dad.

You are so sweet to accompany mommy on her long commute (hahaha) it must be exhausting! LOL!
My boys follow me around until I blow dry my hair (last task before I’m out the door) then they are sitting in my path waiting for the morning cookie before they retire for the day! LOL!
Romeo! So glad you are all right! No more safari’s - ok? Oh Sue I can imagine how you felt! my rescue Frankie when we first got him ran away a few times - my heart was in my throat - I’ve never felt so helpless..
Sue, I am so sorry you had that scare and so grateful it ended with a happy ending!!! Phew!
