You are her rescuer and she always wants to be close to you.  Your scent is on that pillow and that is her way of being closer. She may not be able to read, but Sol is still one smart cookie.

My little black pug, Charlie, loves to sleep on the pillow next to mine in the summer. In the winter he’s under the covers right next to me. He’s my cuddle pug.

No matter how many pictures you post of Sol, I still want more.  She is the most adorable little lady.

I agree with Sue - Sol’s pillow doesn’t smell like her loving and wonderful momma, but your’s sure does!

Maybe when you change Sol’s pillow case you could use her pillow one night and then give it back to her pre-scented
