True Colors

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case I think this picture is a way to see the the different personalities of Benjamin, Henry & Luna.
First, we have Henry the adventurer that can't stay out of the pool. Then we have the worriers, Benjamin & Luna, that pace around the pool concerned about their brother. But the real moment of truth is when Henry jumps out of the pool. As you can see, Luna is giving Henry and earful, but Ben is in the back, running as fast as he can because he knows Henry is going to shake. One big shake from Henry will get Benny all wet. And Benjamin's number one rule when swimming is that no one can get wet. ![]()

What a face luna has she is really giving him the devil lol, they look like their having a good time mine don’t like the water to well so bath time is a chore.
What a funny, charming pack you have!
*giggle* Benjamin looks like he’s saying, “Oh boy, I’m OUTTA HERE!” Looks like such great fun…John and I were just talking about Cole’s first summer with us and what we think his water habits will be…
Sue, thanks so much for asking about Baxter…Everything is still on the up and up! He’s doing great and still taking all his meds like a trooper. I have to call today and get his follow-up scheduled. Fingers crossed all is well in there! Thanks again for thinking of us!
Here’s to another week…sure wish I was lounging by the pool with the gang!
This one is good for a laugh all day, or maybe all week. Corrine, your comments, as always, are just right-on and funny. They look like a trio of kindergarteners doing their own thing. Love the way Benny is scooting out of the way.

Huckle, I love your kindegarten remark. This really is a great picture, but I have one question. If Benny is so adverse to getting wet, how do you give him a bath, or does that apply only to the swimming pool?
Benny Baby, I think you need to look up “swimming” in the dictionary again…water and getting wet is a primary component of swimming! Silly Boy!!
Mr. Skittles woudl be like Henry, first one in the water!! He jumps in the bath tub, can’t wait for his bath!.
Luna is really giving her bro a pice of her mind!!!
too cute! (still to cold in NS to be in the pools)
Hilarious! Would love to see video of this moment.
I love this picture looks like they had a great weekend Henry must be the smart one to go in the pool to cool off Benny is funny trying to get away you cant keep my Emma and zeke out of there pool but toby and abby want no part of it unless you pick them up and put them in it I dont know about ollie yet as I just got him last june and he was very sick with heart worm so he was having his treatment so this will be the first summer to see how he does in the pool
First, I just love the way this picture looks. It makes me smile.
Second, I love what it says about the three of them! Thank you for interpreting, Corrine!
WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY!!! Henry what a smart pug you are. A jump in a cool pool on a hot day is GREAT!!! Love Henry running and Luna, the lady of the pack yeling at him. Great way to start the day!! FOR ALL OF US.
When it really gets hot Grannie Pug fills up her big Garden Tub in the bathroom and puts warm water in it. I LOVE IT!!!! Lay down and let her poor water over me.
GiGi..A Pug Hearts Gal
Haha.. they are so cute.
My Sofie loves the water.. but Bentley hasn’t always been the biggest fan.. however, he is learning to love it.. strangely enough.. He sees how much fun Sofie has and he WANTS to be part of it!
Great picture! I love how little Luna is giving Henry a piece of her mind for making her worry
How does she feel after he shakes? Aww, Benny, swimming isn’t that bad. Thanks for making Monday better
My girl didn’t get any of the pugness that allows her to like water. She got a bath on saturday, and I had a very, very sad sulking pug for quite a while afterwards. When she was 6 mos old, at the dog park the first time, she went sailing off the end of the pier (lake adjacent to the dog park), her first experience in deep water, so I think it sort of marked her memory that water is not a good thing. Thankfully, there was a marvelous man swimming in the water with his dog, and was able to pop my puggy back on the pier.
Go Henry, you must have had a blast, given how Luna is all over you as you come out:-)
I love it! The way you describe what they are ‘saying’ kills me! It just makes me smile. Give all three kisses from Gina & Pippy!
