The Podium

In honor of the closing of the Olympic games, the pugs decided to hold their own medal ceremony. The event is unknown and the ranking is highly questionable. I'm pretty sure seating was on a first come first serve basis.
In any case, we enjoyed watching the Olympic games these past two weeks. Especially, yesterday's hockey game.

Such beautiful judges did someone say judging on pugkin bread bring on the samples.
Corrine, you are just so cute. Very clever!!! Love this post…I think Gold’s are in order all around for adorableness!!!
I agree with Heather - Gold Medals all around for these cuties!
I think GOLD is definitely in order and pugkin bread for the celebration! Go team PUG!! Pug-hugs from the Colorado 3
If there were more pug events in the Olympics, I would have tuned in more!!! A pug on the ice, doing pug ice dancing…it’s a beautiful thing!
I think they all deserve GOLD! Sadie loves to lay as high as possible - so she’d be on the back of the couch - waiting for her treat, er I mean medal.
I agree with sue s - Team Pug, the indisputable gold winners.
Corrine, wasn’t the hockey game exciting. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such intense playing. Too bad for the USA, but congratulations Canada.
they look so cute and comfy now do they get a treat for posing so cute
Gold = Pugkin Bread; Silver = Spaghetti;
Bronze = Knuckle Bone; and Sol gets one of each! It’s a win, win, win, win situation!
Hooray for the pugs!
If I’m not mistaken, I believe their event is the highly competitive “Super Comfort Seating”. As we can see, there can be multiple medal winners at a level.
And Corrine, I agree with Heather! This is a Gold Medal posting!
Gold Medals all around, love the super seating!!
All pugs get gold medals… they are so lovable.
Okay, I’m crackin’ up here! Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Benjamin, on the Gold podium, Henry in Silver position and the girls tied for Bronze! Winners all!
OK…if they start Pug Olymic games you will have 1st place in chair seating. I am too old and cannot jump on anything. BUT if they hae a run like crazy to Grannie when she is still…do a fast roll over with feet in air and tummie up waitin for a tummie rub…I would be a sure Gold winner.
GiGi, a Pug Heart Gal
PS: If someone will tell Grannie where to get Punkin Bread I would be very, very happy.
PPS: What other games cold we add to the games. Pugs Rule!!!
I agree with everybody else…this is a Gold Metal posting. And of course, all the pugs are Gold Metal winners!! They are all just way too cute!
Sol, I think you earned a Platinum medal girl:-)
I dunno, though, if the event involved food of any kind, it might have been a 4-way tie!!

If there are allergies to milk or eggs, add moew applesauce.
Also good for humans.
I believe this recipe is from Ann with Centra Florida Pug Rescue
During certain times of the year Bob Evans sells pumpkin (pugkin) bread.
What a sweet bunch! Do they each have their own favorite Olympic events?
Hellen - Sue VDB is exactly right. Here is a link to the recipe she posted.

And in the Fall, when we are feeling lazy, we just stop by Bob Evans and pick up a loaf of “pugkin” bread for the pugs.
Oh My!! Found thid today, Wed June 30, 2010.

Grannie Pug

Hellen Norton (Grannie Pug)
Hellen Norton (Grannie Pug), you are entirely welcome. If I remember correctly, you had previously asked for this receipe, so decided to post it. I hope ALL of you enjoy. Of course it was provided by Corrine.
