The Groomer
Ever since the boys were really little, Henry has taken the role of the groomer. He makes sure that Benjamin’s ears are always clean. Henry licks both of Benny’s ears until they are absolutely spotless. Most of the time this is a very relaxing process for Benjamin, but sometimes Henry goes a little overboard. That is when Ben tries to walk away but Henry doesn’t let him. So, Ben just toughs it out until Henry has completed his mission as a canine Q-tip.

I’m glad to hear about this because my girl Wheezy cleans ears and faces on the pugs and licks the shih tzu’s coat. Charlie loves it, Bugs and Spanky tolerate it for a while then leave.
I am also glad to hear this is normal. I feel like I am always saying “Rosie stop!” when she is licking Roxy’s ears, but now I will let her if I know it is ok! I learn so many good things on this site. Thanks!
