Super Moon

The day Luna passed there was a Super Moon. Given the sleepless night we had endured and the overall stress of the last few days we had no idea of the lunar event that was occurring that night. Our vet informed us. In the moments after Luna passed our vet broke the silence and profoundly said, "I think it is only fitting that there is a Super Moon tonight."
That night, shortly after the sun set, we leashed up Henry and took him on his first solo adventure. We got in the car and started driving to the beach. We stopped at a little park on the river just before you reach the beach. We walked with Henry to the water's edge and through the clouds we could see the moon shining brightly casting beams that were dancing on the water. La luna was shining bright and seemed bigger than life, just like our little Luna.

She will always be shining on us all. Thinking of you guys….kiss to you handsome Hank.
The vet was right. The Super Moon was reflecting Luna’s feisty, sweet spirit. What an event.
Hugs to all of you.
Just Beautiful
Luna, our super moon, indeed! May she always shine ever so bright xo
Beautiful. Just beautiful. What a wonderful sentiment to sweet Luna. Hugs to Hank and QP. Love to you all.
Here in Texas, our skies were clear and I was enjoying the Super Moon very much. It was beautiful.
Your vet was both astute and sensitive to make the connection, and I really like him for it! From now on, I will always connect Luna to the Super Moon with love ♥
She was smiling down on you…
How perfect. We love you, Luna! I’m glad Henry and his peeps had a special, moonlit adventure that night.
Just thinking of Hank….wish I could squeeze you buddy!
this makes me think Luna was smiling down on you
The moon that night was as big and beautiful as Luna’s deep, dark eyes!
What a wonderful way to honor Little Looney.
Hugs to you all, especially to Hank
We didn’t even have to get off our front porch to get a view of the Super Moon. It looked close enough to almost touch. You do have a special kind of vet that would mention that connection. I know it comforted you and taking Henry to see it as his first trip out was very fitting. Give sweet boy Hank a hug and a kiss. I want to ask you all to keep my Genevieve in your prayers. She has congestive heart failure and her terrible cough has come back. She is on meds for both and was on antibiotic for 2 wks. I am so worried and I’ve been watching her like a hawk. She will be13 on Aug. 1. Thank you all
Brenda, Genevieve is in my thoughts and prayers! Kisses to you sweet girl.
I live on the ocean in Florida and see the moon almost every night when I walk Meiling.
We will remember Luna and send her lots of pugs and kisses every time we see it shine!!!
Thinking about the entire OBP family and hoping you are all OK.
P.S. Genevieve is in our prayers.
Brenda, Genevieve and you are in my prayers.
Brenda sending prayers and a puggy hug
What a sweet tribute!
Brenda, your sweet Genevieve will be in my prayers. And you will, too.
What a wonderful thing for your vet to say. I too will think of Luna smiling like a Super moon. Prayers to Genevieve and Brenda also.
What a wonderful send-off for sweet Luna; she was indeed shining down on you.
Brenda, sending prayers for your Genevieve.
What a remarkable luna. Miss you bunches baby girl! <3
So sorry for the loss of your sweet Luna. And how appropriate that she should have a super moon as she exits this life and moves on to the next one. I’ll keep you and everyone in The OBP family in my prayers.
A sign for sure…she watches over you.
A super moon, for a super puggy girl! I think Ms. Luna wanted you all to know she was watching over you.
xoxo Patty
