Spoiled Already
Well it sure didn’t take Sol long to become a spoiled little girl. Here she is begging for some of the chicken I am carving. It is pretty much a Sunday ritual. We get the rotisserie chicken from Sam’s club each Sunday and carve it and use it in some form for our lunches that week. Sol has been here for at least 3 Sundays when we do this and she knows what is coming. The girl is quite fond of chicken!

Oh my goodness…who could resist that darling little old lady? They are all darling! I’ll share my chicken too
Oh my my my…Miss Sol is certainly one of the OBP family now…it is truly a beautiful sight. She looks pristine and soooooooo content. It radiates from her. (I have to say I can’t get it out of my head that my boys need a lil’ black sister pug too…It’s not the first time I’ve thought that, but Sol is pulling at my heart strings!
....I loved that Luna was right there with her new sis and then the boys came running…BONE appetite all!
So precious! I loved it when you backed up to take in the rest of the crew. Ha, ha! They were all so polite each waiting for their own piece. Thanks for bringing a smile to my Monday!
Yikes! I thought Sol was going to explode before she got her taste of chicken! We “fall for the fur” every time, don’t we? She’s just too, too cute to ignore.
I absolutely loved listening to the impatient tone in her voice! You didn’t move nearly fast enough to suit her!
And that’s especially sweet because it’s a good indicator of her comfort level with her new home. I think she must really love “owning you”.
Spoiled Already - and why shouldn’t this sweet lady not be spoiled? She looks amazing and there is a big change in that lady from the first picture you posted. Everyone looks like one big happy pug family and Sol has certainly staked her claim.
How you could you possibly not spoil her?
She is such a doll. She sounds very much like
Luke, our black pug when she was getting
impatient for her chicken. He makes this almost honking noise when he barks. It is so cute.
I highly recommend black pugs. Of course I
highly recommend fawn pugs, too.
I love it! She fits right in with the rest of the crew! I agree that she looks so happy and content. I too thank you for brightening a very gloomy Monday here in southwest Minnesota!
Don’t you love how desperate they get? “I will DIE if I don’t get that chicken, you know…”
You say spoiled like it’s a bad thing!! Hee Hee Hee….she wouldn’t be a true Pug if she didn’t beg for her Sunday chicken carvings
“Doing Now”. How did Sol respond to the bath? From your first description of her it sounds like she was neglected, ie long nails, etc.
Yep, recognize the sound from the begging. Guess it’s a pugthing.
Louise usually stands during the begging. Sometimes she uses her whole body to give strength to her ‘beg’. Her 4 feet are in the air at the same time then.
Btw, have you noticed when some dogs waggle their tale? Their whole body shakes. (I noticed it with one of my friends’ Cavalier King Charles)
But when a pug waggles, only the tail is being moved! I saw it with Louise, and now I saw it in this video with Luna!
Those weird puggly-wugglies
I agree with Lori, your pugs are so polite. My pugs are dancing and wimpering all over the place. My Shih Tzu just watches them like they’re crazy, but he makes sure he gets his share!
Well, maybe her hearing and eyes aren’t perfect, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with her taste buds! Sol fits right in with the gang, doesn’t she? Adorable!
Well, that made me crack up ROFL. The first time DH heard our Ruby make a noise like that he almost wet his pants, he said it sounded like a woman screaming at him - tee hee!
