Something New

This is a first. I haven't seen any of the pugs use the dog beds like this before.
Henry is the king of cooling his belly off on the tile, so I think this might be some sort of hybrid approach that gets him the best of everything.

Ah, King Henry must have felt the random pea that was stuck between the two dog mattresses (a la Princess & the Pea) and opted out of the now “uncomfortable” bed.
Or he just needed a hug (Oreo style hug between wall and dog beds). Nonetheless, too funny!
Looking for a cool spot of tile…. sometimes those comfy beds just won’t do, if one is too hot!!!
Enjoy your siesta Henry!
Perfect Comfort Zone!!!!!! My bed one side for support, the wall on the other side, the cooll floor for my tummy and I can see everything that is going on! Henry you are a genius!!!!
Henry is a very smart puggy he knows where it is cool its funny my gang when I am in the computer room I put down 7 dog beds for the gang and no one goes in them in the summer they lay next to them on the cool floor with there heads resting on the beds and Baxter one of my boxers the silly boy sleeps on the dog bed but has to have his head on the cool floor
Oh, this is too funny but I can see Henry’s point. Smart puggie.
With Georgie’s limb problems, the pincushion vet didn’t want Georgie to even climb up the doggie stairs and wanted him to use a ramp to keep from using the patio stairs. This means he has to be picked up in my arms each night and put on the bed which is rather high. The other night I was doing just that but he was heading away from me toward the door. I grabbed his middle to lift him up but in the process he started sliding downward, head first. And, he is heavy. Not wanting to drop him, I grasped harder but by this time he was about to fall out of my arms on his head since I hadn’t gotten a hold of him quite right. I guess my grasping was a little too exuberant. He released a volley of, ah, “squeaky farts”. But, he did land safely on the bed.
Hank you are a cutie patootie. I hope your belly was cool and you had a nice nap!
Thank you to the two Sue’s for the kind school year wishes!!! Heading back today to continue the set-up!
Henry is one smart and handsome pugger!
And Huckle, as always, your writing gives an entertaining visual into Henry’s little squeaky toots on his trip to the very tall bed. Love it!
