This is the scene on most Saturday nights. Heck, who am I kidding. It is pretty much like this every night. The only thing that makes this picture less realistic is that the cat is not perched on the back of the couch. The sofa has three cushions and each one of the pugs has claimed a cushion for themselves. Good thing the pugs are lap dogs or else the humans of the house would be left seeking comfortable seating elsewhere.

Poor Benny has no blankie?? I think an extra share of pugkin bread is needed to help ease his hurt feelings.
How funny is that, that they each reserve their own cushion. My Romeo sits exactly where I sit and he has to move over ever so slightly to lay hext to me when I sit down. Pugs are so great, wouldn’t want to be without them.
That is typical of my living room, too.
Except I have 2 pugs and a pit bull-mix that
is a lap dog. I really think she believes she is a pug.
If I ever see Bennie laying on the floor instead of the couch or our bed, I begin to worry there’s something wrong!
Does anyone know of a pug anywhere who isn’t allowed on furniture? I seriously don’t think it would be possible.
And there’s Puffy, right there alongside! Love it!
So…Did everyone try the pugkin bread recipe this weekend? I did and C.J. and Toeby really liked it! I couldn’t find the buckwheat flour or the flax seed so I’ll have to go to the health food store, I imagine…
I don’t think an owner would be a true pug owner (or ownee?? Is that even a word? LOL) if they didn’t allow their pugs on furniture!!
That’s a wonderful picture. I like how the boys are watching you take the photo but Luna is just asleep. Or aloof?
Martha and Heather, OBP’s website is named that for a good reason. We don’t allow pugs on the furniture, they let us know the furniture is there for them, and we are allowed to sit on it.
Karen, glad C. J. and Toeby got to eat pugkin bread. My Romeo didn’t because I had a full weekend with my grandson, Ben, with soccer, festivals and a movie.
Sue, ha! Great point!!!
Karen, glad to hear CJ and Toeby enjoyed their new treat! My guys, too, have to wait until next weekend since their momma was way too busy to hit the market this past weekend…Shhhhh, don’t tell them!
Heather, it’ll be our little secret…

Ann, Thank you! What a hit this was with our puggies! I made a loaf Friday evening and they got to have some first thing Saturday morning - all 6 tails were wagging!! They absolutely loved the Pugkin Bread! And I loved being able to give them a healthy treat Thank You! Thank you!
My puggie does the same thing only he won’t share the couch at all. he has to sit exaclty in the spot you want to sit and good luck with the blanket he won’t give it up so he now has his own pillow and planket on the couch.
it is so funny they are so all alike in personality traits.
pugs rock !!!!!!!!!!
Daddy doesn’t like the puggies on our couch (all the hair, nails poking the leather, blah blah blah) so the kids only get to kick it on the couch when daddy’s not home…..snicker, snicker
Just love your Pug Pack. Can you say where Benjamin & pug pals got their harnesses?? Can’t find anything like that in any catalogs I have, and their regular harnesses always slip around their bodies - they just aren’t like other breeds when it comes to fitting our Maggie & Brutus in the proper harness. Would appreciate your response. Thanks so much…...Regi
Puggies are like no other - our Maggie & Brutus need to go on a diet - they are bottomless when it comes to food. I have them on Iams Healthy Weight dry food mixed with a tbl of cottage cheese, but I need to share some of my rye toast with them in the a.m. Any suggestions? Thanks…
