Rolling with Luna
Whenever Luna catches a certain smell she feels compelled to flip herself on her back and roll around on it. When she is done, she flips herself back up and trots along like nothing every happened. The other day, I was able to get some shots of her flailing around in the grass.
First, she spots the scent and paws at it a bit.
Then she flips herself over and begins to wiggle around.
Then when she thinks she has annihilated the scent, she flips herself back up.
Once on her paws, she is back on her merry way.

I meant to tell you guys…yesterday I had to run an errand and there was a car in front of me with the license plate “Sol”...Miss you pretty lady…you still make us smile!
But why is it that the smell they usual roll in STINKS?

My Tina is also a scent seeker that rolls around like that. I wonder if its a female thing?

Came back again to visit Luna and noticed my comment wasn’t posted.
Whatever she is rubbing to eliminate she certainly is having a good time, and the pictures are fantastic. She looks very pleased with herself in the last picture.

I’m late getting here today, and after I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the pics of Luna, I then got to enjoy all the comments! I love Luna’s expressions in the shots that show her face. She just seems so darn satisfied with this experience. As Heather said, “that’s how she rolls!”

Abby’s mama here, I tried to post an update yesterday but it was long, and it said it was spam, so it never got posted. She is up and down, up and down. Just holding up hope that she has a little more up times now, than down times. Thanks for asking, and praying about us:-)

Our girl Violet the pug would always do this on walks when she found a dead, dried earthworm on the sidewalk… flop right down on it & wiggle ! So funny
