Roll
Henry likes to lay flat out on his back soaking up the sun a lot. When he gets up it is usually a gradual process. He will roll over to his side and then from there get back on his paws.
But, my favorite, is when he gets excited and tries to roll over in one swift motion, like in the picture. He will attempt to go from flat on his back to up on his paws and ready to run in one motion. If he makes it on his feet the first time, he gets even more excited and you can be sure that he will take off and run a few circles around something because nothing gets him more fired up than flipping up and landing on his feet on the first try.

Yes, I know the feeling too, Henry. Some days it’s easier for me than others to get going in one try.

Oh boy, Henry, you sure have an easier time with the roll than Abby, pudgy puggy takes about 10 tries to right herself when laying on her back for a belly rub

I actually showed that pic to a couple people this week who couldn’t believe she was all pug, cuz of her beautiful shining whitish gray face, just that little bit of black skin around her mouth left, and her ears are black, although they are getting more speckled gray hairs by the day, lately, I think! And, we FINALLY found a better compounding pharmacy for her eye ointment, so her eyes have been well supplied with tears, so well, there’s the little tear puddles below her eyes. But tear puddles I will take any day, over dry squinting eye boogies, with obvious discomfort. She is feeling pretty good lately, and seeming to be sweeter by the day, and has returned to sleeping with me <3
The anticipation of wondering what the calendar will look like is starting to build up, I can’t wait for it to be unveiled!! anybody else???
What a great roll Henry good boy my buggy does that once in awhile when the spirit hits him.All these beautiful pugs now this is what makes life beautiful,enjoy the weekend everyone.
