Role Reversal

For those of you that follow you are likely familiar with our routine that once included a heavy dose of "driveway time" where the OBP peeps and pugs would hang out in the front yard and driveway each night. Since Henry's rough year this is one of the slowest things to come back. However, it is something that Cupid is now requesting! Oh my how the roles have reversed here! You can see in the one photo that Cupid is happily curious about what she sees and hears while Henry is at the front door ready to go in. In the other photo, you can quickly see Cupid lounging on the welcome mat but you also notice that Henry is inside waiting by the door. This is a complete reversal of roles! Usually it is Henry hanging out by the front door and Cupid looking out. What is going on? Is it Freaky Friday in OBP Land?

I’m sure this is another adjustment you have to make in your routine, but these are cute pictures.
I love seeing cupid in a harness and leash! Did she protest the harness? Our kitty is also becoming interested in the outdoors. We haven’t let him explore yet. He does love being on the lanai.
strange how the rolls have changed cupid looks like she is enjoying her time outside
Cupid, you are too funny! Sending kisses to you and Henry!
After years of watching the pugs, looks like Cupid decided to see what all the fuss was about!
How cute!!
I’ll bet Cupid has been considering this for a good long time. After all, it’s not good to be impulsive. And she finally decided to give driveway time a try! Good for Cupid! And just maybe this change will encourage Henry to enjoy it more again!
Maybe they are just trying to mess with their humans;)
QP are you losing weight? You look skinny pretty girl. A kitty in fresh air, hmmmm. You are a pugger at heart! Smooches lovely!
This is so cute. I can’t believe I missed Henry standing at the door in the first picture! So funny. Cupid looks like she is enjoying her driveway time!
The creatures will never cease to surprise us. Love ‘em!
They know what their humans expect. What they don’t care about it that they are different. Love Cupid in her harness; I always had cats in harness and on leashes when I lived in NYC; took them to the park in my doll carriage (4 cats - talk of the neighborhood).
I came back to look at the pictures again, and I love the way Cupid is stretched out and indifferent to the fact that her human is standing RIGHT THERE! Taking her picture!! Cupid is just “Ho hum. I don’t pose.” She may be Owned by Pugs, but she’s all cat!!
