Rare

You can file this one under things that rarely happen around here.
While Cupid the cat gets along great with the pugs, she doesn't usually cuddle with her subjects. So when she even considered laying down next to Benny, her least favorite of all the pugs, on my desk yesterday, I almost fell out of my chair.

Cupid, you are a beauty, but I do have to question your judgement sweetie…Benny, your least favorite pug?!?! Surely you jest!
any news about Sol?
Animals never cease to amaze me in what they do. Who knows why Cupid chose to cuddle against Benny, but it certainly is an adorable picture. Cupid you mustn’t pick favorites.
Very cute picture of Cupid (and of Benny’s butt too
) Benny is her least favorite pug, how can that be???
Good luck with Precious Sol tomorrow! We’ve been thinking about her and sending prayers and good thoughts for your family.
Now why did Cupid do this…..did you have a cold snap and she was just trying to get warm? Very interesting. And also it’s interesting that Benny sleeps on your desk! How on earth can he sleep without at least one pillow!
Very perceptive observation Martha. I thought of that later and wondered why I didn’t question Benny sleeping on the desk. Cupid I can understand, that is the nature of cats, but Benny on a desk and as you say no pillow.
How interesting indeed!! and no pillows!!
All our prayers & best wishes for Sol tomorrow!!!
And like Pat said, NO PILLOWS!!!! haha Cupid is adorable!!
I have to say that our guys frequently sleep on bare hard surfaces, mostly the wooden floor without pillows. Usually, I think it’s because it’s cooler, and since we don’t have central a/c, it can get a little warm for them. My big question for Cupid is, why did she pick Benny’s BUTT to put her head next to. :-O
I think Cupid thought that Benny was sliding off the desk, and so she positioned her head against his butt to keep him from falling. She made a great sacrifice (there could have been some pug tooting)to save her brother. This is how packs do it in the wild!!! I think I’ve seen something similar on National Pug-o-graphic!
My cats don’t get near my pugs, but they used to cuddle with my rottweiler. I think the pugs are too rambunctious and Raven was very laid back.
I think Cupid is setting Benny up for a “Ha Ha, I got you!”
He must have been fast asleep the puggie curl is uncurled!
Only time we can be sure our Pug Greg is asleep is when his tail uncurls then the snoring and dream twitches begin.
Happy thoughts for your multi personality household.
