Rainy Weekend
Benjamin, Henry & Luna didn’t get to do anything fun this weekend because we got rain, rain and more rain. We got up early on Saturday morning to cut the grass and do some yard work. After we finished up the pugs played a bit in the yard, but then it started to rain and it rained for the rest of the weekend.
So, they caught up on their beauty rest and lounged about the house. They didn’t really mind that it was raining except when it was time to go potty. Then Benjamin and Luna were miserable. I tried to do my best and take them out when it was only sprinkling as opposed to when it was pouring down rain, but they didn’t get so lucky on Sunday night. There just was no break in the rain. I have never seen Benjamin & Luna poop so quick before.
Even though the weather sucked, I enjoyed the weekend. We really needed the rain and sometimes it is nice to have an excuse to spend the weekend lounging around the house.

Sleighbelle LOVES the rain! She can’t wait to jump off the porch and bark at the rain! She is mad that it is “invading her territory”. Then I have to greet her at the door with a towel so I can begin the rub-down. Birdy doesn’t mind the rain, but she doesn’t embrace it like her nutty big sister does!
Luna looks like she has a French manicure in that picture…haha…My Big Boy wants no part of the rain…his younger brother doesn’t mind as much…and it was a rainy one here too! Here’s to a sunnier week.
Those pictures are priceless. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a more pitiful pug as these two. You’d think they’d been told they would never receive another treat! I just want to smoosh those faces and plant tons of sugars on them!
What is it about the rain.. Mr. Skittles does not like to do “business” on a rainy day, and gets his “business” over with very quickly!
Luna and Benny are two very sad pugs, on a miserable rainy day!
It is so amazing to see how the pugs react to the weather. My guys are the same. If it happens to rain here (not often) they will step out on the balcony - look around and head right back in to sit in front of the heater! You can clearly see they are all about lazing around - being snuggled and wrapped up in their fleece blankies! SO SPOILED!!!
We had rain in Boise on Saturday but the monthly pug-meet went on as planned. There were about 45 shivering little pugs running around the park
Wise I had their energy.
C.J. and Toeby use potty pads inside when the weather is bad. We don’t get that much rain but they hate going out in the cold! I love to curl up with a snoring pug or two and a movie or book, along with a cup of coffee or glass of wine! My idea of Heaven!
Luna might be miserable…but she’s SOOOO adorable!
