Property Of

The box of goodies sent by Huckle, Abby & Gracie had so much good stuff that I don't event know what to show you first. But, this shirt really did make me LOL.
I'm not sure if there could be a more appropriate shirt for us considering that Cupid, our cat, really does think that she owns the pugs. Silly cat!

Helen thinking of you
This is just too funny. Only Huckle would come up with this. Cupid can have the last laugh on this.
Luna looks pugalicious!
How cute and although very appropriate, you ARE the property of all pug lovers your too cute not to share! Pug hugs from the Colorado 5
Oh Luna you look exrea beautiful today….give an extra wiggle to Cupit everytime you go by!!!
It got really cold last night. I wroke up to see if GiGi was alright. When it got really cold and all her blankts were not enough she would wake me pugging on my blanket and I would pull her bed and blankets close to my bed (she was afraid of heights and would not stay on the bed) I would place a super large soft blanket over her ad scratch her head until she went back to sleep.
Peanut stayed for awhile.
Oh Hellen. Still thinking of you. She is nice and warm now and knows all that you did for her. Please know we are all surrounding you with hugs. God Bless.
Oh Helen, my heart just breaks. Please know you are still in my thoughts and prayers as is Gigi…know that she is warm and cozy with our other fur baby angels, all watching over us from the bridge. She was so very lucky to have such a wonderful, loving momma and she knows that!
Hellen, my heart aches for you. All of us at OBP feel your pain and understand how much you miss GiGi. Like the others have said, she is watching down on you, and somehow I hope you are comforted by that. If not physically present, she is deeply in your heart. I hope the intense pain you are feeling will somehow decrease and you can be comforted by the sweet memories of GiGi.
Hugs,
Sue VDB, Romeo, Minnie, Missy and Frankie
Dearest Helen - am totally distraught about your loss of your beloved GiGi, There are NO words that are appropriate at a time like this…..... just remember the “Rainbow Bridge’.
Lots and lots of the ‘Lonehill 6’ pug hugs and sneezy kisses
And wishing you lots of wonderful memories

To Helen,
A Dogs Plea to Humans
When humans die
They write their testament
To leave their home
And all they have
To those they love
I’d do such if I could write
To a poor, desperate, lonely stray
I’d give my happy home
My bowl and cosy bed
My soft pillow and my toys
The so loved lovely voice
The place I had in someone’s heart
The love, that at last
Helped me to find a peaceful end
Held firmly in a sheltering embrace
When I die, please don’t say
“I’ll never have a pet again, the
Loss is far too much to stand”
Choose a lonely, unloved dog
And give him my place
This is my inheritance
The love I leave behind
Is all I am able to give.
More love and pug hugs
GG and the ‘Lonehill 6’
Sorry to hear of GiGi’s passing, heartfelt payers are being sent your way. Granny Goog’s you have provided a most beautiful poem to share-be assured that all the beloved fur babies at the rainbow bridge had their paw on the person who wrote this poem! I know that any of the fur babies who were not lucky enough to have had a loving human in this life, now have a friend there who will wait and share their human when our time comes to join them and we cross the bridge into heaven together. Prayers, peace, blessings & pug hugs from Pastor Sue & the Colorado 4
Susan, you signed off on your last blog as the Colorado 4. ???
Hi Sue VDB, Not to worry I consider myself to be #5-I usually sign off as Pastor Sue when folks have suffered a loss of their beloved fur babies. It is my hope in doing so that there is some measure of comfort signing off that way. Hope I didn’t scare too many! Pug hugs from the Colorado 5
Hellen, I am sooo sorry for the loss of your beloved Gigi…I know we all feel a loss when one of us loses a furbaby…
Grannygoogs, that is simply beautiful and so touching…
Luna, you look sooooooo cute!
Helen, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this profoundly sad time.
Luna, what a lucky little lady you are! I sure wish someone would send me a box containing a whole new wardrobe. Heck, I’d even settle for one measly Chanel Handbag! Can’t wait for the fashion show! Rocky and Adrian are anticipating it too. Adrian will probably hit me up for some new duds now!
Hellen, please know we all have our hands, hearts and paws around you. Your comment about the cold made me think of my Lilo, who when she gets cold at night, wanders up to my pillow, and then scratches at the blankets until i lift them up and let her under them. Sometimes, i don’t even recall doing it.
Grannygoogs, what a wonderful poem to share.
I belong to a page for our rescue group here in town and yesterday we were commenting on how if we didn’t have animals….
mine went something like this:
A walk that should take 5 minutes, would no longer take 15.
I would not wake up to puggy sneezes in my face that i dread as much as accept as routine.
I would not have a bag stuffed with toys, 6 different kinds of treats, bowls and a doggy life jacket for our travels.
I would not know the human medications that are “doggy safe” and the human foods that are not.
My life would not be as fulfilled as it is by knowing the unconditional love of being owned by a dog.
My life would not be near as happy without knowing the greeting of my best friend, the doggy kisses, and the warmth of my puggy curled up on my lap. My soul would be searching for it’s missing piece.
I believe that most of us give our animals as much as we give to them. Some days, the scale tips in our favour, sometimes in theirs. Our balance comes in knowing the love of one another, and that will always remain.
Love and pug hugs from Lilo n me
Lilo n me ~ That was so beautiful and so true! Even though I had to give him so anti-gas medicine tonight, I still wouldn’t trade him for the world.
Thank you for sending that!
And by *him, I meant Pip my pug. (lest any of you thought I meant my hubby.) hee hee….
Lilo n Me, how beautiful, and oh so true. I sometimes get frustrated because my group gets so loud, but I would not want to be without them.
Gina, lol.
Lilo n me, that is beautiful and very profound!
