Overzealous
It is usually Luna that ends up wearing most of her dinner, but the other night Henry saved a little yogurt for desert. Unlike Luna, who is completely oblivious to the fact that she ends up wearing most of her dinner, Henry was aware that the yogurt was on his nose and he kept trying to lick it off. The only problem was that his tongue wasn’t quite long enough. I wiped it off for him, but not before I had a few minutes of fun with him.

Do you just use plain yogurt?
He looks so cute. Around this house Rosie would probably step in and clean it off.
Most of the time they just get plain yogurt. Every once in a while, to change things up, I’ll get strawberry yogurt for them.

Is yogurt good for them? Is it a recommendation for a healthy treat instead of dog treats?
Yogurt is good for the digestive tract. When we make the dog’s food, we just include a dab of yogurt in there. Not too much. We generally don’t give it as a treat because it is too messy.
My girls love yogurt! I usually save a bite or two and let them lick it off the spoon. And usually, there is a bit of yogurt flying through the air when Sleighbelle gets her licks. She is very, very “enthusiastic” about her licking!

Ruby used to eat food that I made, based roughly on what you make for your pugs (now she is on diet vet food). In the morning she got a bit mixed with chopped apple, some canned pumpkin, and plain yogurt. She always ended up with yogurt on her chin LOL.
Aw, that is hilarious. When I brush the pugs teeth, I get toohtpaste on their mouths and whiskers sometimes. Then they go around licking their mouths like crazy.
