No Snow

Another cold front has moved through and we are back to pretty chilly mornings and nights. But, I guess, when you are the only state with no snow on the ground you can't really complain.
Henry, the sun lover, does not let a little cold weather keep him from soaking up the sun's rays. At lunch each day, he finds the sunniest spot he can, and then sprawls out. The rays aren't as warm as they are during summer, but there isn't a bunch of white stuff covering the grass so he will take it!
Have a good weekend everyone!

Handsome Henry, I am a sun lover too and am not as fortunate to basking in its rays these days…The boys would like to know if you would like some company because they sure are tired of trying to wade through all this white stuff!!
Happy weekend to all…Hope Luna is all rested up and am still praying for good results!
Living in England now, I can say I miss a whole day that is sunny…not just a peak of a ray here and there. : )
Here’s hoping everyone at the OBP household stays warm and cozy. And especially wishing little Luna a good rest with even better news next week!
My Abby girl loves her sun too Henry, there is a nice bit of morning sun that comes in in the morning, so even though it is winter here in Wisconsin, we play pretend, by cranking up the heat and pretending like it is one of the warmer spring days, our favorite time of year
Hope Luna girl is feeling better! Take care baby girl <3
So handsome Henry. Enjoy your sun. I’m in Nebraska and there is plenty of snow here. I don’t mind it though. I enjoy winter time. I think I’m the only one!
Still thinking of and praying for Looney! Like everyone says, rest up wee one and the good results will be in soon!
Pug Hugs to all! Gina & Pip!
Henry, here’s hoping you can get some good, warm sunrays coming your way soon.
Wishing for the snow to leave Kansas as well, but at least we can contend with it. I have a friend who lives near Atlanta and they have been snowed in with ice as well since last Friday…can’t go to work, can’t do any shopping. She lives in an unincorporated area and they don’t even contract for snow removal, so I have to count my blessings. Please say a prayer for her Taz, a chi, who is sick and can’t get to the vet.
Henry you are a handsome boy soaking up the rays when I let the gang out this mourning in Tampa it was 40 but one the sun starts to shine it sure feels warmer once the sun goes down it starts to get cold but I am with you Corrine at least we don’t have snow
Sue VDB I will say a prayer for your friends doggie thinking good thoughts for her and he doggie
Hope everybody has a great weekend enjoy your football games
Sue VDB, I am sending good thoughts and prayers for Taz!!
Henry, I’m with you! I love the sunshine! You hang in there, and Florida will finally be sunny again! Keep warm this weekend.
It is nice to see the sun, and it seems like we haven’t seen that much of it. We too have some snow.
Mr. Skittles does not let that deter him from a morning walk. He trucks right along liek nobodys business.. toocute.
What a handsome pic of Henry, enjoying that sun!!
Sue VDB.. pass along my thoughts & prayers for Taz & family, we will be thinking of them.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, pug hugs and be safe!!
Good news. My friends in Atlanta were finally able to get out today and getting Taz to the vet was first priority. Taz has Cushings and my friend Lucy really thought he was dying. Turns out he has pancreatitis brought about from the Cushings. He is now on the necessary meds, including pain meds. He is staying at the vet until he gets thoroughly hdrated. I forwarded OBP blog to her so she could see the prayers and well wishes intended for Taz. She sends along her thanks and gratefulness for you kind people. OBPuggers are the best. I also want to thank all of you. Hugs Sue VDB.
Good to hear Sue VDB!!!! I’m glad Taz is getting the meds and help that he needs. God Bless!
Pug Hugs from Gina & Pip

Unfortunately Taz didn’t make it. They brought him home Saturday. Not only did he have Cushings, but developed pancreatis, then diabetes, then kidney failure. Lucy took him to bed with her and petted him until she finally fell asleep. When she woke up he was gone. RIP Taz. Lucy wanted me to tell you how thankful she is for your prayers, and thinks you are an amazing group of people. I totally agree.
Oh Sue VDB ~ That makes me so sad. I’m so sorry for Lucy and her family. At least he passed in his Mommy’s arms. Please tell her I’m still praying for her. I hope she finds comfort in knowing he is at peace. God Bless.
Sue VDB, please extend my heartfelt sympathies to your friend…So sad that Taz couldn’t get to the Dr. (in time?) It sounds like he passed at peace and in comfort. I’m so sorry.
Don’t know where my head was, I am just picking this up today, the 18th! Henry, NO SNOW is a good thing!
Sue VDB so sorry to hear your friends doggie Taz didn’t make it will say a special prayer for him
Gina and sue, have passed your kind words on to Lucy. She says it is hard not to see him there, as we all know that feeling. Taz was buried in a special spot where some other furbabies are. He was wrapped in his first mama’s shirt with a Puparoni next to him, as that was his favorite treat.
Karen B, I will also pass your message on to Lucy about Taz. I know she feels very badly about not being able to get to the vet, thinking if she could have sooner, things might be different. We always second guess ourselves when it comes to our babies.
Oh Sue VDB ~ That is so sweet that he was buried with a puparoni. And tell Lucy not to second guess herself. She did everything she could. I believe Taz knows this. God Bless.
Sue VDB, I’m so sorry…I didn’t mean to make it sound like your friend didn’t do all she could…I apologize if I sounded insensitive.
Karen B, no offense was taken. I did not mean to imply you were insensitive, just expressing Lucy’s feeling. I know she was upset because she couldn’t get Taz to the vet earlier. It does seem, though, that he had too many strikes against him, and I believe Lucy realizes that.
Thanks again to everyone for the lovely comments. Lucy appreciates all your kindness.
BTW Lucy had a severe allergic reaction to a medication, is now on 90 mgs of prednisone for a few days, gradually decreasing. Any of you familiar with prednisone know this is a HUGE amount. She could use more prayers. To all OBP people, thank you again.
Now I have to resubscribe to OBP. When I clicked on to look at who made the last comment, I accidently clicked on the link to discontinue OBP. OH NO, I DON’T WANT TO DO THAT!!!!
