Leash Management

From the moment I took hold of Luna’s leash when we adopted her, I knew that this girl was not used to being walked on a leash. When she is on a leash she just bounds along bobbing and weaving between people and objects paying no mind to the cord that is attached to her back. As a result, she frequently ends up wrapped around things like trees, bushes and fire hydrants.
At the beach the other night, she circled this stick until she ran out of leash. At that point she just stood there looking at us like, “I did it again, can I get a little help over here?” We of course complied.
Her leash skills have improved since we got her, but we definitely still have a lot of work to do with her.

Poor Luna! Always getting tangled! Poor Baby!
My Pug, Emma, circles incessantly on and off the leash. When we walk her we can only give her about 2 feet of leash, otherwise we get tangled up with her. Still, it is a very small price to pay for the love of a Pug.
