Junior Sunlover

Luna isn't quite to the level of sun worshipper like Henry, but she sure is learning to enjoy the warmth of the sunshine more and more. I see Luna lounging with Henry in the yard a lot more now a days. I'm sure that will all change once summer rolls around. The only pug crazy enough to lay out in the summer FL sunshine is Henry.

Oh luna you are the sunshine here at the pug ranch"enjoy the sun sweet babes.
Luna looks like she’d like some shades - something with some bling-please!!
And Henry . . . that sweet face of yours, framed by your black velvet ears! You are Mr. Precious, for sure.
SUE VDB: Went to sleep saying prayers for ROMEO. I’m so hopeful you get some good news today. I read that he had eaten yesterday and greeted you at the door. What a swell fella. You’re in all our hearts.
I think sunning is a spring ritual for pugs. Ohio has had some beautiful sunny days and my pugs sit full faced catching the rays.
What lovely photos. Luna is a beauty and Mr. Handsome Henry needs a big smooch on his head! What a love!
Bella loves laying in the sun. I caught her laying in the sun and panting the other day. Um Bella…you can move if you’re too hot. Silly pug.
Sue VDB~ tons of prayers still coming your way.
Pug Hugs to all from Bella & me.
Looks like Luna is waiting for her chair and umbrella.
Great Luna and Henry pictures.
Romeo ate good this morning, and even barked to hurry me up with the food.
I’m rather exhausted today, but pray I get news on the biopsy today. Thank you for your continued prayers.
‘
Think I will take a nap with Romeo.
such good photos of Henry and miss Luna my Emma loves laying in the sun next to her big brother Baxter the boxer
Sue VDB thinking of you and Romeo this is good he wants to eat sending a big hug
Henry looks like he’s saying, “Who you calling crazy???”
Luna must love the way the sun makes her muscles feel! But with your bright Florida sun, maybe she would enjoy a pair of “doggles” to shade her eyes!
SueVDB; I have not been an OBP member for very long so I’m not up to date on your Romeo. How old is Romeo?
And did he have an operation?
I hope he is feeling better.
Kathleen, Romeo is 13 as of November 26. Last year he had medical problems that somehow completely disappeared, which I give St. Francis credit for. During that process I was also told he could have a brain turmor, so Romeo has been under my watchful eye, as that is always in the back of my mind.
About 6 weeks ago Romeo began sneezing several times a day. My vet is no longer in practice so I took him to the SPCA. The vet who examined him thought it was allergies. Romeo has allergies, but they are of the itching kind, not sneezing.
Monday, he began to sneeze constantly so I took him in to the SPCA agaub. He also had a rotten smell about him. The vet who examined him this time found a hole in the roof of his mouth and referred him to an animal dentist.
On Tuesday, he had an appointment. She gave me a couple of different scenarios as to the cause, and when I asked about tumor, she told me that was the last thing she was going to discuss.
Surgery was performed to clean out the wound and stitch it, as well as remove two teeth, leaving him with a total of two. When she called back, the news was not good. He has a tumor that is beginning to invade his nasal cavity, and is affecting his left eye. When I suggested maybe it was time to give him a gift of peace, she wanted me to wait until the results of the biopsy, which I have yet to hear…the 100 year wait.
If he has Melanoma, there is an injection he can receive that will considerably shrink the tumor and give him a good quality of life. If it is not…
Please keep my Romeo in your prayers or thoughts.
I am with you dear Luna….This Old, stiff lady enjoys the sun but living in Oregon we have been getting more white wet stuff!!! Henry show how it is done!!
SueVDP So sorry to hear about Romeo. Our prayers are with both of you.
There’s one of those poses from Lady Luna.
We are with you, Sue VDB. So many fervent prayers are for you and Romeo. I am picturing him as he was before all of this. That positive energy for him may help redirect his own energy. And, yes, I do believe it could be so. As you said last night, there are miracles in this world, and why not, for Romeo.
Oh, I almost forgot (how I don’t know because this is a biggie) and no one may see this at this time of the evening but, GEORGIE IS NOT PANTING. It was so quiet this morning after a night of trying to calm his panting down (around 3a.m. again), and his ongoing panting 9 days after the shot. Suddenly I realized that there was no noise in the house, then it hit me, Georgie wasn’t panting. Unbelievable and a bow to St. Francis. Poor little Georgie was poor no more. He had taken command of the situation and finished up his panting. Plus, he hasn’t ‘goose-honked’ since he got that shot. And here I was ready to shoot the vet.
Huckle, what fantastic news…hurray for Georgie. Thank you St. Francis. Hopefully you will not be able to get some much needed rest.
Now you can’t shoot the vet.
Miss Luna, I think you would look smashing in some shades! You do get the idea, that the warm sunshine can be a good thing. Just take it from ‘ol Hank!
Sue VDB, sending prayers and good thoughts your way. Romeo sounds like he is sure in good hands.
Huckle, glad to hear that Georgie is on the mend
Huckle, what I meant to say was Hopefully you will NOW be able to get some much needed rest.
Oh Ms.Luna, all you need is a blanket, shades & hat and you will be HOT. Of course Mr.Henry is as handsome as ever-since I am away from my gang I enjoy seeing these pictures and look forward to having my gang back with me soon. Sue VDB continued prayers for Romeo that the biopsy will come back with good news for you and Huckle-so glad Georgie is doing better will continue prayers for good health. Pug hugs from the Colorado 4
Sue VDB ~ Still sending prayers!
Huckle~ Hooray for Georgie!!!!!!!! And for you!
Sue VDB, yeah, I knew what you meant. I often type the wrong letter too and that can lead to some interesting conversations.
I have a friend with a hearing impairment so sometimes she doesn’t hear my words right. THAT can lead to interesting conversations also!
Bless Romeo’s little heart. I hope he can eat without trouble and that that healing is going well.
