Henry Just Fall Out

Today is the first day of Fall and since Fall doesn’t visit Florida, each year we bring Florida to Fall. This year, Henry took Fall a little bit too serious because he absolutely refused to sit up for the picture. That is him, his face hidden behind Luna, laying on his back refusing to cooperate. And you all think Benjamin, Henry & Luna are well behaved!
Happy Fall, everyone!

Ahahahahahaha…Henry says, “What’s all this fuss about this Fall thing…The sun is shining mom…I need to catch my rays.”
Your Fall display looks beautiful!
poor little Hnery was just mis understanding your command…You said Fall so he did!!
But Mom, I’m tired of that clicky thing. Let Luna and Benny pose if they want, I’m just not gonna. How very funny and what a beautiful fall display.
Romeo and I went to our first Pugtoberfest Saturday. There were around 25 pugs in the big fenced in back yard and we had a blast. After sniffing all the dogs, Romeo discovered the food table and made it known he was aware of it. After that he was much more interested in the people and before it was all over everybody knew who Romeo was.
aahh Fall! Lovely display and great photo op spot!
Henry is very relaxed, and the others are looking mellow also!
yes, we do think that they are always well behaved and model pugs!!
We had a lazy weekend, Mr. Skittles was happy to curl up next to me and sleep while I read a book. Very relaxing indeed!
Happy Fall, All!!
rofl Janelle. or in Henry’s case, rolling on GRASS laughing.
OBP, the fact that you get the 3 to stay still all at once, even some of the time is more than I could expect from my 2. And you display is beautiful, as always.
These three totally make my day! You know there’s not a day goes by that our pugs don’t do something that amazes and amuses us! How did we ever survive without them!?
Luna and Benjamin look so patient while they’re waiting for their brother to shape up! I love the fall display, too!
Henry gets the award for the smart Pug of the day. He’s just laying back with his mouth open hoping that pumpkin will pop out a big piece of pumpkin bread! Can you blame him?
I love your fall display. The pugs look so life-like…oh wait, they are alive! Henry cracks me up. He’s thinking, the sun is out, the grass is warm, behaving is for the birds!
Henry is just kickin’ it, laying back in the grass! Adorable and great for a laugh!
Baahahahahhaa! That’s hilarious! Henry! You silly boy!
I have a question for the group—I have heard that fish oil supplements are good for a pug’s coat, as well as to reduce shedding. However, I bought a bottle and was dismayed to find that the pills are GIANT liquigels, which Sonny could never swallow. Does anyone have any experience/recommendations with this, re: proper dosage and how to administer it? Thanks!
BWAHHHHHHHH!!! too funny!
Beautiful Fall display!
Henry - you are priceless!!!
Henry: “Ma - thanks for putting out these wood chips for me to scratch my back on..hehehehe”
To April:
I have bought fish oil in liquid form. Put a tsp or two on his food once every couple of days.
He didn’t mind it, but I thought that every once in a while he smelled “fishy”.
From my experience…nothing helps with the shedding…except giving into it. Become one with the hair. You cannot tame the beast.
April,
PetsMart sells Nutrivet wild Alaskan salmon oil for dogs, as well as for cats. You might want to try that if you have a PetsMart near you.
I recently bought a Furminator at my local pet store. It does a FABULOUS job of removing lots of Toeby’s “spare hair” undercoat! Kinda pricy but well worth the money, I think. I get, literally, a large zip lock baggie of fur off of Toeby every time I use it! I almost have enough to make another Toeby!
I could be wrong, but the shampoo that I use that is supposed to cut down on the shedding does seem to work somewhat. I agree that you won’t get rid of it, though. I also have a furminator which I love! Rascal tolerates it, but Biscuit seems to love it. I eventually give up the combing though: I never reach a point where there’s no more hair coming off. I usually wear out before that happens. I also get enough to make a 3rd puggie. They are pricie, but I use the small size which helps.
They are just adorable and I think my Puggie would do the same thing and be very stubborn about the sitting still for a picture, you have to totally catch him in the moment.
We just put the big capsuls of wild salmon oil in the dogs’ food dish whole. They gobble them up. We think that it really helps in the shedding department. PS Can’t wait to see the Halloween costumes this year!
Phenomenal photo and just love Henry’s attitude:) Thanks for the smile you brought to my face Henry, Luna and Benny.
