Guard Dog

I cooked a turkey breast last weekend and this is where Henry parked himself after I popped the bird into the oven. He happily guarded the oven door for the 2 plus hours the turkey was cooking. After that diligent work, how could I not reward him with a little piece of turkey!

Henry the guard pug and it paid off good boy Henry
Yum!!! Henry knew that guarding the “goods” would get him his “reward” Such a good guard dog!
Hope you enjoyed dome of that turkey Henry!
Henry’s reset place produces good things, and he must have thought this is the very best place to be. After all, that turkey had to come out at some point and he wanted to be sure it came out done and ready to eat.
Such a good work ethic! And good spot too - nice and toasty in front of the oven!
Henry is such a good boy to guard the turkey.
Henry’s sense of smell will make up for his loss of sight! Meiling’s nose always got her to where she had to be after she went blind!!! Go Henry!!! You are a role model for all of us on how to find our way!!
Look at that pose - ‘Grrrr’
He may be a guard dog but I wouldn’t have a problem approaching him and squishing him and lovin’ on him. Smooches Henry!!
Henry says: “It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it!” Way to go, Henry!!
I agree with chuckie, he means business!
The look on Henry’s face says “Go ahead…make my day.”
I think a roasting turkey is every dog’s favorite food to ‘help’ prepare! The aroma gets them every time!
And with Henry’s dedicated guard duty, of course he got a nice reward!!
Henry is watching, waiting, druelling(?)What a good boy!Pug hugs from pastor sue & the Colorado 2
Perfect spot for guard duty.
He was only rewarded with a little piece of turkey after all that hard work;)
