Freshly Cut Grass

There is nothing the pugs seem to enjoy more than freshly cut grass. As soon as we are done mowing, the pugs are very anxious to get out int the yard and run and roll around. There is just something about the smell and feel of the grass that just gets them all fired up.

Benjamin really runs around like a mad man and with the summer heat his face gets dirty real quick. Just look at how filthy his wrinkles are in the picture above. His face gets dirty so quickly and he has the deepest wrinkles. We use Malacetic wipes to clean him up and while he isn’t fond of them he does let us wipe out his wrinkles. More details on wrinkle cleaning to come, I am just amazed at how quickly Benny’s wrinkles get dirty compared to the other two. What about your pugs? How often do their wrinkles need to be cleaned?

I have two pugs.. Sofie has the deepest wrinkles.. they seem to do the best when I clean them at LEAST Every other day..
Bentley’s are good about twice a week.. but Sofies are so deep that it is really hard to clean them, let alone KEEP them clean. .I have to use a topical ointment to get them really clean.. but it works.. and I do what I can to make my pugs comfy!
Miko usually gets her face cleaned everyday, Meimei only twice a week - sometimes more if they are outside more.
I use a wipe too and man - do they get dirty!
Lola gets her wrinkle “dry cleaned” every day, and she gets the dreaded Epi-otic fluid once a week. It takes both me and Lola’s Auntie Evelyn to accomplish the deep cleaning - she HATES it. But she does get boggy - the price to pay for beauty, I suppose!
Lucy’s wrinkles needed to be cleaned alot, and they got infections easily. But ever since we got Tuffy, he cleans her wrinkles every day and she has never had another problem! He takes such good care of her!
My Pugsley has deep wrinkles and needs them cleaned every other day, Meila could do with only getting hers done once a week as she has very little wrinkles, however-she gets hers done every other day as well or she’d feel left out. No, really-she would.
My Pug Paddy lpves eatting the grass is this ok for him.
