Freaky Friday Cupid Style

Cupid does love to go out on her leash and will often "scream at us" to be let out on her leash. She will meow meow meow meow and meow some more until we suit her up and let her out front. It is not so much that we don't want to take her out. We happily will. But there are times when literally she is so worked up to go out side, yet the minute we get out there she goes straight to the door asking to be let back in. Yikes she can be one fickle cat. Usually it is Henry who just stands by the door to go out front just to turn around and come right back in. Maybe we should install a revolving door at the front door.

Funny! Our kitty is the same way about our lanai. He is a scare-dy cat and won’t even get near the front door!
Oh the pain in the butt cats can be, but you can’t help but love them. I firmly believe it is a control thing with cats. They want to show us they are in charge and by golly we will do their will. Now that I have two cats I see it more clearly.
QP got her subjects to do her will, and now she wants to show them she is still in charge and wants to go back inside. Haha.
oh yes, QP is the boss!!! Sheknows how to work her subjects
I still do a double take when I see a cat on a leash!
Meanwhile, Cupid is probably thinking, “I can’t believe the slow response time I had. I’m going to have to work with them even harder.”

I’m always amazed at a cat on a leash, too. We don’t have a cat anymore, but thinking back to the ones we’ve had I can see only one of our cats being on a leash. His name was Tiger, a gray striped sweetheart. I swear he was part dog.
My two girls were like 2 and 4 at the time and he would sit between them on the floor while they were watching cartoons. I’m sure Tiger would have been happy to be on a leash. He let the girls dress him in their doll clothes.
Too bad Henry can’t get up and open the door;)
