Flashback Friday

Today's flashback is from February 2006.
This picture is from Luna's first trip to DogWood Park in Jacksonville, FL. The park is a huge private dog park that the pugs just loved. Luna's first visit was a little rough because she accidentally walked into the lake. She was chasing her brothers and she thought the lake, was more like a puddle that she could run across it. By the time she got to the middle, she had a good idea that the water was a little deeper than she had anticipated. She swam out of the big puddle just fine and we toweled her off and got her a sweater to keep her warm until she fully dried off.

Here is also a shot of the boys playing on the same trip. As you can see, Henry has a hold of Ben's face. The boys played so rough when they were pups and Henry always loved to grab Benny by his luscious wrinkles and drag him about.

Oh my, Luna looks luscious in the sweater and doesn’t seem to be worse for the wear after her “puddle” experience.
The boys? Well I can see they needed a large play area to work off all that energy. That is a funny picture.
It’s obvious from that picture that Luna is: a) beyond adorable; and b) so much tinier than the boys. That sweater needs to be tailored to her girlish figure!!
Luna looks just fabulous in her sweater! Love how her tail is curled over it.
And Ben’s like, Henry! that’s my face you got there! Oww!
What great memories these pictures are for you. Is there anything cuter than Luna and her sweater at full tilt. Perhaps she’s running to save her brothers from each other. Good sisters do that, you know.
So so sweet. Poor Luna, I bet she was a little surprised by the “puddle” but what wonderful pug parents to have a sweater and a towel to comfort Luna.
And the boys are so funny! I can’t imagine all that energy! Did anyone see that video of Minnie and Mack the pugs running around and around the living room? Great pug running with tails acting as rudders but the best was they showed it in slow motion. Fabulous treat!
Happy Friday to everyone! The sun is shining here. Which is weird b/c it snowed ALL DAY yesterday. You know, IN APRIL!!!
Hi all!! Happy spring (?!?) Gina! I’m happy to see no more snow so I can’t even imagine!
Also love how you mentioned the tails as rudders…I call Mr. Cole’s tail his rudder all the time. I love when he gets a strut going and it starts going back and forth!
Luna looks scrumptious in her cable knit sweater, a true angel.
I can’t blame Hank for wanting to latch on to Ben’s lucious wrinkles!!
Have a great weekend. I’ve been enjoying my first April vacation as a teacher and not a student for once
Love and snorts,
Heather, Baxter, and the Cole!
I love the pictures! Luna is so sweet in that great big sweater! She is such a trooper, that little girl!
And the picture of Henry being so “ferocious” and grabbing Benny’s lovely wrinkle is very funny!!!
Oh Luna what a beautiful girl you are…having a great time showing off!
Oh Luna what a beautiful girl you are!!!
Such a beautiful picture of Miss Luna in her cozy sweater! And a very funny picture of the boys!
Gina and Heather, it’s been unseasonably cold here, too. I’m praying that the snow and cold weather in Buffalo finally go away by the end of this week cuz I’m getting MARRIED next Saturday!! I do not want to wear a wool coat over my wedding gown!
Mary M, a BIG congratulations to you are your upcoming marriage, and hope the weather is gorgeous. Many blessings to you and wishing you as long and happy marriage.
Luna is so cute in her sweater love the picture of the boys playing
Mary M, you go girl! How exciting and I’m sure you’ll be radiant. Is their a chance of showing us you in your wedding gown, perhaps on Facebook?
