Flashback Friday

This picture is from February 2006.
This shot was taken a few weeks after we adopted Luna. Luna was curled up sleeping on one of the dog beds in my office and Benny in true big brother form, brought her a duck and squeezed himself in to make himself comfortable.
They had to share the dog bed because you know I didn't have enough beds for everyone in my office ![]()

I love the look on Benny’s face. He’s saying “I’ll take care of her mom.”
What an adorable picture. Benny you truly sensed Luna’s feelings in giving her a duck for comfort, along with your closeness.
Yeah, and that was the last time there weren’t enough dog beds, right, Corrine?
But that is such a sweet story. Benny wanted Luna to know that now everything would be alright for her and that she had come home.
sweetest picture and story ever!!
what a sweet picture and story
I’m tearing up…a little emotional today.
Ben, you are a super big bro and little Looney is blessed to have you and Hank!
BTW, Georgie wanted me to tell everyone that he was so happy that the new Prince was named after him!
Heather, are you ok?
Huckle, lol/
Just saw your post Heather. We are here if you need to talk. Or, if you wish I could send you my email address. Just want to wrap arms around you and you sounded like you need comforting. We are here.
Sue VDB, Georgie is glad you liked that and he wants everyone to know where the Prince’s name originated! Males are so self-involved (sorry Wayne, sorry Steven and all the rest of you who do not have the good fortune to be females).
Oh Benny what a sweet brother you are. Little Luna was in need of a lot of love as she settled into to her forever home! (OFF(CE)
This picture is beyond sweet. The look on Benny’s face truly says it all. He is going to take care of Luna b/c he knows she is nervous and not sure about things. I try to imagine what is going through his brain. Here is this other little doggy and she is scared so I’m going to bring her something that will comfort her and then I’m going to sit with her. I love it. I love dogs.
