Flashback
This week's flashback: Knee Surgery Two Year Anniversary
I forgot to post a little something at the end of June about Henry's knee surgery when he was a pup. It's hard to believe, but it has been 6 years since he had the surgery. Luckily, he is still doing great!

We always go through so much anxiety when our babies have to go through any type of procedure. Thankfully little Henry is happy and healthy today. He is a handsome sweetheart.
I never knew Henry had knee surgery! What a little trooper he was. It makes me happy to see what a wonderful result he had!
Wonderful for Henry for making a full recovery. Kudos to his wonderful parents and brother Benny for helping with the therapy to make that recovery possible
Sue, how is Romeo doing? We’re all wishing him a quick, full recovery too.
Andit Thanks for asking about Romeo. I visited him at the vet clinic this morning. He was a little groggy and for a pug who gobbled any and all food down, his appetite is still not good. He was happy to see me but not quite himself yet. He did react more when I was leaving, poor baby. I could have brought him home today but he wouldn’t have gotten much rest, which he needs. You see I have two other dogs, two cats and a 7 year old grandson who is here while his mom is at work. Even though I hated to leave him, the vet and I both decided that two more days of rest would benefit him. You can be sure I will be on the phone at 7 am Monday morning. BTW the bag they gave me with the contents removed look more like 3 or 4 knee hi hose which indicates too me he found a package of them.
Hi Sue,
I’m glad to hear that you got to visit Romeo. I know it is so hard to see them when they are under the weather. As hard as it may be, I think you are doing the right thing leaving Romeo at the hosp. so that he may get all the rest he needs. Doing the right thing is never easy though.
Thanks for keeping us updated & know that I have been thinking about you both all weekend.
Take care,
Corrine
Sue,
I’m happy to hear Romeo’s update, too. I feel for you to have to see your little guy not himself. But I think you did the right thing too by leaving him for a bit longer at the vet. When you get to pick him up, I know you’ll see a lot of improvement with him.
And 3 or 4 knee highs…my goodness! You really did a good job getting him to the vet as fast as you did.
Prayers and lots of good thoughts for both you and Romeo from Bennie and Martha
