Lookin’ good Henry. That must mean you are very relaxed. The only time Pip straightened out his tail was when he was sleeping or running (which the latter didn’t happen much). And Bella is the same way.

Henry you are using the wrong bait you need cat nip at the end of your tail

My first thought, also, was:  Where’s Benny-Boy?  He looked so dejected in the picture of the 3 Amigo’s on the bench the other day.  Are his feelings hurt and he’s boycotting the picture taking?  Hopefully, the collar can come off soon and he’s back to feeling like his own “bad” self again.

Somehow I don’t think fishing is on Henry’s mind.  Can’t see all of his face, but it appears to me he is ready to make with some zzzzzzs.

It always seems so sweet to me to see the pug tail in it’s uncurled state.  So very relaxed!

For some reason I thought that it meant they were unhappy when their tail wasn’t curled.  I have only seen Mr. S’s tail uncurled a couple of times, and it is uasually if he did something he wasn’t suppose to.
I would hate to think he wasn’t happy!

PAT:  Bella’s tail (which is shorter than Henry’s) is normally curled very tightly up against her back - so much so that when she wags it, she wags her entire butt which always makes me laugh.  But when she’s sleeping, it will drop down straight.  It’s just more noticeable to see it unfurl when she’s unhappy or frightened.  I do like those curly tails!

Maybe the humidity took the curl out of Henry’s tail? Looks like he and Luna are enjoying a nice day sitting on the bench maybe taking a sun bath.

Bennie’s tail also uncurls when he’s really unhappy or not feeling well.  Once I was dogsitting a friend’s Frenchie, and Bennie’s tail hung straight the whole time.  As soon a the Frenchie went home, “boing!” Bennie’s tail curled right up.

Took Georgie to the vet this a.m.  His goose honking was back although I did get it stopped last night with cough syrup.  This morning he wore it to the vets.  He’s back on his original medicine twice a day, cough syrup as needed and his thyroid medicine twice a day.  The vet wasn’t concerned about this latest, said his heart sounded good even with the enlargement, and his lungs were clear - something I must watch carefully for fear of pneumonia.  But, the vet just loves Georgie and I think he is sincere. He raves over him and talks to Georgie as if Georgie was capable of conversation. He said he just looks so darn cute and I said we thought so too and I think it’s because he looks so innocent.  He said, yes, that’s it.  If Georgie doesn’t get worse, he said he may have to be on the medication for life but that is a small hurdle considering other possibilities.

Oh Henry, you’re just so relaxed. Lilo’s tail straightens out a lot, definitely when she is sleeping. I’ve never noticed if it does when she’s in trouble, probably I’m so busy noticing her hanging her head in shame lol. Wanna wake her up though, all you gotta do is touch that tail.

So sorry to hea Georgie is a little under the weather. Glad to hear Romeo’s acupuncture is going so well.
