Creature of Habit

To ensure the safety of puffy and to make sure that Benjamin has access to puffy while we are away, we keep puffy in Ben's crate. That's not to say he doesn't fish it out of the crate and take it to various parts of the house. However, whenever we see puffy laying about we toss it back in Benny's crate for safe keeping. This also helps Benny. Whenever he is looking for puffy, he checks his crate first.
Every night after Benny finished his dinner, he goes outside through the doggie doors, and goes potty. When he comes back into the house, he gets his puff and and brings it to us in the living room. At that moment he is so content. He has a full belly, an empty bladder and is ready to settle down for the night.

That is so cute. It’s amazing but our Mack (almost 11) does the exact same thing with his green sheep! And Minnie and Mack never touch it either. And he only does this after dinner, not breakfast.
Our pugs are so special!
Drools and licks,
Minnie, Mack and Mario
Oops, I meant to say Minnie and Mario never touch green sheep!
Love Ben and his puffy. Baxter likes to walk around with his bink (an oversized stuffed pacifier lol) in his mouth after a nice meal.
Snorts and love to all.
Could life get any better than that? We all need “puffies”.
Oh Benjamin, you with the wrinkles and the puffy. I just love you so.
Man or pug can not ask for more than that!
Benny, sounds like perfection to me.
Pip had a pink stuffed pig that he would look for after supper. He might carry it around during the day but it was like an after dinner mint or a cigar or something like that. And if you told him to ‘go find piggy’, he knew exactly what you were saying to him. He loved that thing! I of course, still have it and a brand new one we found.
Pugs are the best!
My Emma every day when I get ready for work she goes to the toy box and gets her nylebone and goes to her doggie bed for a good chew
A full tummy, puffy, and family! Life is good!
Benny, you melt my heart!
My pug Lilly Rose has thrown up 9 times this morning I have a call in to the vet. What do other pug owners do for your pugs?
Jade, you are doing the right thing. Throwing up that many times tells me she really needs to see the vet. Prayers going up for your Lily Rose. Please keep us informed.
OMGosh Jade, my Lily is also a Lily Rose! I am so sorry she is not feeling well today. You did the right thing by calling the vet. Get well soon Lilly Rose!
Benny, don’t let anybody get between a boy and his puffy. My Lily still hasn’t picked out a toy that’s her favorite (unless you count her Wigzi bone cuz it produces treats….), but my old girl Abby had a rabbit her whole life that was never far away. Beatrix the bunny now sits on the shelf holding her ashes.
Benny! It looks like a fuzzy hamburger hanging out of your mouth! Great! Now I want a hamburger! Thanks Benny! (Seriously, not your fault…I’ve been craving a hamburger….so EVERYTHING looks like a hamburger.) hahaha! Benny you are just too cute for words you little charmer you!
Dakotas best loved toy is a small stuffed pug that had been on my self with toy pugs!!
It is now missing two eyes but I sewed the eyes closed and all is well!!
I have really missed the OWNED by pugs in my mail box…so happy it has returned!
We are moving from Dallas Oregon to Nevada in two weeks. Cannot wait to see our new home!
Hellen, have missed your comments. Are you moving to the state of Nevada?
Lilly Rose crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning.
Jade I am so sorry my heart goes out to you
Jade, I am so sorry to hear about Lilly Rose. You were a great mommy to her, and there are many pugs who have left us that were at the Rainbow Bridge to greet her when she arrived, Solsey, my Abby, Pip, etc. Please take care of yourself.
