Benny vs The Hanging Flowers
Do you remember a while back when I tweeted about Benny trying to mark something out of his reach and peeing on his paw? Well, those pretty flowers in the hanging basket, just above Benny’s head in this photo, are what Benny was trying to mark when he had his little incident. Despite dirtying up his paw, Benny did not give up in trying to claim them for his own. The other morning, around 3am, Benny needed to go out to go potty. We both made our way outside and Benny attempted to mark the flowers again. In his tired stupor, Benny lifted his leg but lost his footing on the rocks which caused him to knock into the hanging pot. The pot, in turn, swung back and nearly knocked Benny off his feet. Flower pot 2, Benny 0.

Awwww…I can just picture a tired Benny falling all over the place trying to claim his spot…lol…
I actually thought of him and his paw incident this weekend when Riley hiked himself up in some weird contortion and proceeded to pee all over his entire leg…

Benny, Benny, Benny. You are too funny. You are also a typical determined little pug and will probably keep at it until you reach some sort of goal, just don’t get yourself knocked out. Even at 3 a.m., I know mom had to laugh.
ok, I have girls, so I’m not an expert on a boy’s tinkle angles, but how in the world does Benny think he is going to tinkle on the hanging plant? That is a picture I would love to see!

Benny: Hey, Mom, I think that hanging plant would look better if it was just a little bit lower, don’t you? Seriously, Mom, I have a good eye for these things.
Hahah too funny! Gus has/had a problem of peeing all up his front leg.. his ears would twitch so he knows he is doing it.
He also tries to pee on shrubs that are higher up and one time actually over balanced so badly that he fell.

Lex, I am cracking up over here re: Gus and his ears twitching as he pees on himself…awwww….can’t help but giggle though!
There’s a video on YouTube where a little pug guy is trying to hike his leg to pee and actually ends up walking on his front paws before he goes “over”. It’s hilarious!
I don’t know which is worse, peeing on your own leg or your brother’s head cuz he’s trying to stick his head under you to sniff what you’re peeing on! LOL!!

Karen B: we call that “pee head” in these parts…and it happens more than momma would like!! hehehe…
Pee head it is! C.J. and Toeby take turns being pee heads! They have to pee in layers: you know, one then the other on top of that, then the other again!
Our guys do the pee head thing, except it’s usually Biscuit that gets peed on. They don’t normally take turns. But it’s not just that Biscuit is trying to smell his bro and accidently gets in the way. Rascal usually seems to be aiming at Biscuit’s head.
Awww, poor Benny. He is so adorable.
My Mushu sometimes gets his leg too. He stills pees like a girl. Every once in a while, he will pee like a boy, but thats usually when he pees on trees.
