Beach Bums

On Sunday, we decided to make the most of an overcast day and we took the pugs to the beach. We haven’t been to the beach since we adopted Sol, so I thought it would be fun to see what she thought of the sand and the salty air. The whole trip could have bee a disaster (more to come on that), but we pulled it together and had a really good time. The boys and Luna had fun as always and Sol really seemed to be having a good time as well.
Here are a few pics from the day.

Love the pix! Glad you all had a good beach day—happy pugs! I like overcast days at the beach—fewer people, less glare.
I think it is just amazing that they are well behaved off-leash, a true testimony to your training skills. I am too neurotic to trust any of mine to just go.
The pictures are lovely as usual and it looks like a good time was had by all.
Great Pics! The sand is so white! So the pugs really show up well! Last week the girls, Beauty & Dailey. got to take mom to work while my car was in the shop-this morning they were ready to go, but I got my car back so I went solo. Some whimpers but I think they will be ok. Have a great Monday!
Happy to see everyone had a good time. I notice that Sol seems to stick pretty close to Luna. I too admire the fact all of these babies can go off leash and have fun while paying attention to Mom and Dad.
What fun!
I’ve always thought that an overcast day at the beach beats a regular day anywhere else…I love the crispness! (Or is it humid there???) Looks like the pugs enjoyed their day!
A trip to the beach is so wonderfully theraputic - good for you!!
Looks like the family had a great time!!
Ever noticed how sand on the beach can look so much like snow? lol One day I’d like to take Biscuit and Rascal for some off-leash play on the beach.
Great pictures! Looks like everyone had a great time.
I’m happy to see Sol taking life as it comes. She just looks like one of the gang and will be till she’s gone. Got to love that girl!!!
I’m very impressed. It must be Sol who taught them how to write “love letters in the sand!”
Awwwww…we are jealous!!! We thought, for a couple brief seconds, about a similar field trip this past weekend, but the breeze and cold kept us waiting a little longer…Glad you had fun in the sand for all!!! (Love the OBP in the sand with the gang!!!)...
