Bark at the Park

Friday night, was Bark at the Park night for our local minor league baseball team. It was a night that I had been looking forward to ever since I left the ballpark after taking Henry to his first game last year.
This year, it was a gorgeous evening so we were able to take all 3 pugs without having to worry about them getting too hot.

For some odd reason, Benjamin preferred to sit in the aisle. Since we were pretty high up it didn't matter much because there weren't too many people trying to pass.

Luna was the only one that like to seat on the bleacher. She looked very cute sitting on the bench surveying all the people and dogs below her.
All in all, I think the pugs had a great time. After about the 2nd inning I was really wishing I had brought one of dog beds for the pugs. Couldn't you just see the pugs sitting in one of their beds on the bleachers. It would be like their very own seat cushion. ![]()

this is just so cute and luna is looking like the angel as always glad you had a great time.
Very cute pictures! Looks like they were all having fun. I think I know why Benny preferred the aisle - he wanted to be first when the hotdog guy came around
I love this pic! What a great way to spend the evening! The look like they are having a blast!
andi- that was hilarious! I think you’re right. He was waiting for the hot dog guy!! Perfect!
Pug Hugs to all from Gina & Pip
They look like they had a lot of fun I agree with Andi I think Benjamin was waiting for the hot dog man
These puggers have the greatest aventures…I love their stories.
andi may very well be right. Benny has observed and realized that vendors always seem to be around.
Little Luna does look like she is watching everything, and as usual is adorable.
I have to laugh at the picture in my mind of Benny, Hank and Looney in their dog bed at the ball park, and the response of the people around.
Heehee… Benny is too clever!! It think this is a wonderful idea… Bark at the Park!! Nice way for dog owenrs to get out with their “furry” family!
Awwww, these are great! Wish my area had something similar I bet they stole the show!
One brief comment about the recent events…God bless America.
I think Benjamin was hoping to snag a foul ball! It could have happened!!
All three of them look so happy to be there. I’m sure they were the cutest baseball fans ever! Did your team win?
I see that Benny and Hank are sporting new Puppia harnesses…CJ and Toeby love theirs…CJ in red and Toeby in camo!! I love the orange!
That look on Little Looney’s face in the first picture with her brothers is just absolutely priceless. What a princess she is.
As for Benny, I’m not so sure he isn’t wondering why everyone isn’t looking at him!?!? Or, perhaps, he wanting permission to tackle the guy walking up the steps with some goody in his hand that clearly was meant for Benny.
Wish we had something like a “bark in the park” here. Our minor league team - Mud Hens (who ever names a team Mud Hens - only in Ohio)- hasn’t got one as far as I know but it would be a terrific idea at least until one took the shuttle into downtown Toledo - can’t you just imagine the bedlam on the buses with the various “barks” on board.
You said it well Sue VDB, “God Bless America!”
WOW!!! A ball game for Pugs!!! What great area you live in. Bet all three were watching out for ventors!!
I love being able to be back. Took me a few hours to go through and X-out over 2000 E-MAILS!!! Checked out all the OPBs and loved them all.
After more than two weeks of really bad breathing problems (even a fast trip in an ambulance) I am on the way to be cleared of all the mess. Still cannot sit up for very long before getting shakie and sweating like I am in a shower. Now have ALL the OPB’s saved on a drive I can put in, add to, and take out!!!
PS: Wish I could be the OP puggie seater…sounds like a wonderful job!!!
This is just too cute for words…So jealous that they have such wonderful events for the furry members of the family…looks like such a blast, wish we could have been there too!
Helen, my goodness, it sounds like you’ve had quite a trying time. Happy to see you back and hope that you are well soon!
Hellen,
What a hard time you had!! I’m sorry to hear about what you went through, and I hope you get stronger and better every single day.
Enjoy catching up with all the pug activities and pictures that you missed : )
This may not be the right place and I probably should check with the vet but I thought I’d try OBP first!
C.J. has had the runny poopies for 2 days…what to do???? Is there anything I can give the little guy?
Gorgeous photos!
Karen - Whenever I have a poop problem, I give the offender about 2 tbs. of pumpkin for awhile. It is supposed to be good for either runny poop or constipated poop (go figure). But that has worked for me. Also, check out his gums. Pale ones are signs of trouble which will probably mean a trip to the vet. Give C.J. a smooch from us.
