PugFest Raises Over $23,600
SEPRA PugFest, held the last weekend in October, raised over $23,600 for the pug rescue group. That astonishing amount is $6,000 more than the group raised in 2005 at its annual PugFest. The PugFest event was attended by approximately 1,400 people and 700 pugs! We were fortunate enough to attend the event this year and seeing so many pugs in one place is completely indescribable. So, we took plenty of pictures to share with everyone.
While the event was a huge success, the money raised will not completely cover the SEPRA veterinarian costs. To date the organization has already spent over $57,000 in getting needy pugs proper medical attention.
