Unsung

Henry

I always talk about and post pictures of Benny with his pile of pillows, but Henry knows a thing or two about making himself comfortable as well.

Henry tends to be able to settle easier in a mound of pillows than Ben. Benjamin flips and flings the pillows trying to get them just right and often times he ends up clearing all the pillows off the couch. Then he just stands there on the bare couch, staring at the pillows strewn across the floor, wondering who is going to put them all back on the sofa so he can try to make himself comfortable again.

Henry, just flops down on the pillows and has them mold to his body. In pillow wrangling and most other things in life, Henry is way more laid back than Ben.

I love hearing about the way Benny and Henry differ in personality.  Hank I think your pillow layout looks perfect and oh so cozy!  I’m with you buddy…plop down and make it work!  Love the mental image of Ben on his emptied couch…Mom, pillows please, piiilllooowwwssss!  Lots of kisses to you all!

Sue, how did Abby make out at the vet?  Did I miss your update?  Thinking of you both!

The adventures of the pillow pile gang!!  too funny.
It is rare that Mr. Skittles “rearranges” the pillows, but he like to prop himself up on them as well!

Henry looks perfect perched up there! Pip has found the girl’s bean bag chair and ‘makes a nest’ and gets all comfy. Pugs are so funny!

Sue~how is Abby? Hope everything is good.

Henry, I love your laid back attitude. My Romeo also lays on the pillows just as they are, and makes himself comfortabloe.  Bennie, I am picturing you looking at the pillows on the floor.  How long does it take for mom to put them back up on the couch for you? We at least need a picture of you..better yet a video.

Heather and Gina, look at yesterday’s post.  Sue posted an update on Abby there.

Thanks Sue VDB…

Sue, I am so sorry to hear about Abby’s hips.  I am praying with all my might that she doesn’t need a replacement and that her new meds give her some comfort.  Please keep us posted and know that you are both in our thoughts.  Kiss to Abby!

Henry really does look nice and comfy. Sue, I am sorry to hear about Abby’s hips. I know how worried you must be…sure hope everything goes good and not as bad as it sounds. You have many prayers coming from Texas. We found out in looking over Sir Luke’s medical records that he has a luxating patella. He won’t jump much at all and his back right leg looks a little twisted. We will surely have to watch his weight. Love and prayers to you and all the puggies out there.

Brenda, I have a very good vet who fixed my Missy’s luxating patella and she is doing fine.  However, like you say, if you watch Sir Luke’s weight, that is a big step in further problems.

Is Benny a type A personality?  Henry certainly isn’t.

Has everyone recuperated from celebrating Grannygoogs’ birthday.  I hear she hasn’t crawled out from under the bed yet…ahhhhh wiskey.

Brenda - Georgie has the luxating patella and must sit so his rump is against something for support.  Last week the vet said he could get the knee cap back into place but it just slips out right away. That said, he isn’t rushing to treat it.  I don’t know whether he (Georgie) is in pain or not.  How can you tell?  Surgery eventually.

Has anyone had to deal with the parasite Giardia?  Hints if you have and how you did it other than medication.  We are now treating all of them to be safe.

Oh, Henry, isn’t comfort just the best?  You make me want to curl up and take a nap…

Henry, you look so Zen in this picture!!!!  Nice job with conquering the pillows, yet again!

Did Granniegoogs have too much fun on her birthday?  I must have missed it, if she was gonna be away now.

(I am also back to my apartment, Abby is back to peace and quiet without the minions and dogsitting, so unfortunately, no computer yet, so my internet time is few and far between again).  Hugs <3

Pug Mama, look at the featured pug picture of Zorro, and you will see Grannygoogs there.

Biscuit loves to sleep on top of a pillow, as if he were royalty lol.  But, I have never seen him or Rascal arrange anything to get it more comfy.  The closest thing is when biscuit turns around in the chair he’s in and “digs” really fast on the back of the chair, usually a recliner.  Can’t figure out why, lol.
