The Messiest Eater in All the Land

Luna

I'm not exactly sure what Luna does when I put her food bowl down, but about two seconds after her meal is placed in front of her it looks like her bowl has exploded. We have tried bigger bowls, bowls with higher sides, but no matter what we give her she ends up with food from one side of the kitchen to the other. It is almost like she prefers to eat off the floor. Whatever her preference, it sure doesn't make it easy to keep the kitchen clean.

My Uma’s like Miss Luna.  She’s also the slowest of the four, getting fed first and finishing last!
I also noticed under “doing now” that mulch is also enjoyed by baby Benny.  Two of my four are also mulch eaters—everytime we’re outside, it’s an adventure!

Well, I thought Sleighbelle was a messy eater, but sweet Luna wins that prize!  Sleighbelle is more of a “Wearing her food” vs. “Spreading it all over the floor” kinda girl.  I usually have to wipe down her face and the top of her head…

Okay, this is just funny!  My overall impression of Luna is that she’s dainty, and then this….I’m still chuckling over it!!

If anyone drops a piece of food on the floor, my personal sweeper, Wheezy, is on the job sucking up every crumb!! She’s got Hoover beat every time!

Little Luna is so precious, even all messy too! smile 

We were on vacation all last week with NO computer access!  I was going into withdraws from not having my pugs with me and not being able to visit OBP’s!  Last night our pugs were SO HAPPY to see us and this morning I was so happy to get caught up on all the OBP’s stuff I missed.  As always, great pictures and stories smile

What a sweet girl,i thought my pug was the only one who did that it looks like an explosion is right my poor kitchen.“gimme,gimme,good stuff oh boy”,love the looks as their doing their damage.

Luna, love your individualistic style of eating.  You are UNIQUE, but aren’t they all?
She is lingering so the experience will last longer, maybe?

Well, my Pug, Cooper, SITS properly before each meal in his stainless steel bowl, and then, if he is in the mood, he will eat it all down very neatly and quickly.  If not, it will sit there until he decides to eat.  He is not messy, but some days he prefers to have his food with warm water over it (cooked, as my husband says), and then he eats that all up.  But I have noticed that he always loves it ever since he was wee puppy, when I spill a few little kibbles on the floor.  So now every now and then I ‘accidentally’ spill a few just to keep him happy.  He is so cool. Funny little guy.
