The Kind of Pool He Likes

Benjamin

Benjamin's favorite wall to prop himself up against is the small wall on the edge of the dining room. I think he likes to sit there in the afternoons because of the sunlight, but I always find it amusing that he leans up against the wall. Just sitting on his own is to much trouble. He also has to squeeze in between the pool cues and there is that pesky electric outlet. Geez, life is tough.

Have a great weekend!

Benny, you’re such a stud muffin, pugkin bread muffin of course!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  Yesterday was a long day, but Riley got a full workup.  He is having a CAT scan on Monday.  The neuro *thinks* that this could all be due to a horrifyingly bad ear canal infection that started with his vestibular disease 3 years ago and never fully resolved.  :-(  However, there is a *chance* that it could be a tumor (unlikely though, at least I’m believing it is unlikely).  The only way to know for sure is the CAT scan.  It will show infection, fluid, and/or tumors.  So…we went with it.  Need to know definites for my lil’ one.

If you aren’t tired of sending up prayers and good thoughts for us, could you please keep them coming?  Please pray there is no tumor and that it is only infection.  The infection *can* be rememdied with a VERY long course of antibiotics…If it is ‘the other thing’, well you can only imagine…

We love you all and thank you.  Riley’s daddy made him a delicious pugkin bread birthday cake which Riley happily gobbled after being poked and prodded at for an hour and a half!

Heather, you and Riley certainly will continue to be in our prayers.

And little Benny, you are thinking the 4 in the corner pocket, right?

Heather, thank you so much for the update.  My prayers are for the very best for little Riley and for you too that you keep up the good fight for your Riley, as I know this has been a long, slow, worrying process for you. Another note of encouragement is that he gobbled up his birthday cake.

Benny, you are just too funny sweetie.  You keep holding up that wall and enjoying the sunshine that appears there.

Happy weekend.

Heather,
We could never get tired of sending our prayers and good thoughts!  Of course, we hope Riley gets better really quick and won’t need us to keep sending them smile  We’ll be praying it’s not a tumor.  Keep updating us.  Little Riley has more people pulling for him than he’ll ever know.  smile

Heather,  Thank you for letting us know how yesterday went.  We’re definately still praying for Riley, and I hope so much all his problems come from that infection.  It’s good to think of him happily gobbling up his pugkin cake!!  Nice Daddy to make it!

About Benny, I’m certain he’s hanging out in that spot because he wants to pick up a few games of 9 ball!  Won’t someone please grab a cue and play with him?

“...wall on the edge of the dining room”.  Well hot dog, OBP’s got hereself a fancy eatin’ room!  And look, it’s even got them long stick for passing the hot and heavy pots around to each other! Hee, Hee.  (hm, I hope at least SOMEbody here is old enough to understand that)

As for leaning against the wall while standing up…nada, even that is too much trouble for our fellas, they would just lay down.

Still praying for Riley and the family.

Heather, you’ve got it!  More prayers are never too much trouble!  Know that we all love you and yours and it sounds like this is encouraging…We won’t even think tumor at this point.  Have a restful weekend and Happy Birthday Ri!  I’m confident you’ll be around for many more!

OBP, Toeby is a leaner too!  Cannot sit on his own, must be up against something or someone!  Too funny!

Carla, OMG!! Yep, those are pot-passers all right!  And remember, they also have a “ceement pond”!  LOL!!!  Thanks for the retro comment!!

Did anyone see House Hunters last night?  It might be a rerun, but it showed a young couple in Portland OR and they had two pugs, a black and a fawn and they were all about making this new home a good place for their pug-children!  They were both girls and they even had on adorable clothes!  Made me think of the well dressed pugs here at OBP.
