Sunset Walk

Benjamin, Henry & Luna

We have been taking full advantage of the gorgeous winter days and getting the pugs out for walks as much as possible. The only problem with this time of year is we frequently run out of daylight. Other than that, this time of the year is perfect for pugs!

You can definitely tell you aren’t in Maryland anymore in the winter.  OBP are some lucky puggies right now.

What a beautiful picture. Even though I love winter, that green grass and unfrozen water looks inviting.

I’m so excited! My babies are the featured pugs today!!! We’re suffering from lack of walks here, it’s been so rainy (Heaven forbid Lucy should get a drop of rain on her!!!) Even if it’s nice out in the evening we just were alerted to a pack of coyotes seen in our neighborhood and I’m not taking a chance on running into them after dark with two pugs in tow!

Lucy & Penn’s Mommy, your babies are so cute! I knew right away who they were. Coyotes?! Yikes! Do you mind if I ask where you live? Be careful! smile

Thanks, Gina and Martha! Gina, we live a little north of Atlanta in “horse country.” Lots of big horse farms and golf courses so there’s no shortage of wildlife running around. We have deer in our yard almost every day. Which is not a good thing for my plants, but I enjoy watching them and Lucy enjoys the occasional deer poop snack (GAK!!!) Pen, however, is not amused AT ALL! And my daughter-in-law who hates snakes won’t go out in the yard when she’s here because a creek runs through our back yard and, of course, we have lots of snakes, frogs, turtles, etc. So, the coyotes were not a huge surprise.

Oh My it is so cold here in Oregon that walking the girls out side is really a very little walt!

I have not been getting my OBP newsletter since last Nov, Early Dec.
