It is well known that Cupid has had her ups and downs in the behavior department. She can antagonize Henry, be a pole dancer, spit at a toddler or be charming and chatty and drooling with love. It is times when we see her in sweet sleep, with her little paws all curled up that we just look at her and think, "aw!" Then we mumble, "deceiving little devil!"

Yes, very kitty like for an elderly kitty! It seems that the females are more moody as they age. Such sweetness!
Cupid is such a pretty kitty when they sleep the are all angels
Look at that cute belly floof! Just begging for a tummy rub! (if she likes belly rubs, that is!) My kittie Callie likes belly rubs, which makes me think she is channeling her angel pug sister Angel! Angel was the queen of belly rubs, couldn’t get enough of them!

Frankie (male) has a split personality. One minute he wants to clean Annie’s eyes and cuddle with her, the next he wants to pick a fight. Annie does not tolerate that, and if he persists she goes after him full force. This little transplant from Texas can be a little redneck.
Frankie knows Missy is a little scaredy girl and will pick on her at will. He likes to block her way going from A to B. She just freezes and Mama has to interfere. When the girls are outside, Frankie likes to sit by the door, waiting for Missy to come through. When she sees him she freezes until I move him out of the way.
With me, he is a total love bug…for so long. Then he decides he needs to nip. He sometimes reacts with a swipe or a nip when I reach over him.

I love how she is sleeping so peacefully, but the little toy underneath her is being unmercifully squashed!!

My thoughts exactly Slieghbelle…I bet Cupid is only pretend sleeping and it waiting for someone to get close enough so that she can jump up and scare the crap out of them;) Have been thinking about your dilemma about getting another pug…I hope the fear of pain does not keep you from the wonder of love…just a thought:)

Christie, thank you for your thoughts about my getting another pug. I do agree, a pug makes your life much more fun and full of love. Not to mention plenty of fur flying!
