Shadow

Henry, Benjamin, Sol & Luna

Above is an unedited picture that I snapped with my phone.  As, I was flipping through my pictures looking for something to blog about I came to this series of pictures and remembered that when I took the picture I thought, “Oh, cool.  They are all lined up in a row and I can blog this and make some silly joke about how I run a tight ship around here and make the pugs lounge in formation.”

As I was looking at the picture, I thought, well I can’t blog about that because Sol isn’t in the photo.  Then after taking another look, I realize that what I thought was Benny’s shadow was really Sol.  I didn’t even see her sitting there.

Here is a cleaned up version of the photo where you can see Sol a lot better.

Well, at least my oversight saved you from another one of my lame jokes - sorta. grin

You’re jokes are never lame…You are one of the wittiest writers I know…

I love love love how Sol has seemed to warm up to her new home and siblings…She truly knows shes Home…

And baby Benny, your wrinkles are just to die for…Lil’ Lun looks like she’s about to topple over…similar to Baxter when he falls asleep sitting up…*giggle*

I have to agree with Heather about the lame jokes.  You are very cleaver and witty, helping to make this site even more enjoyable.  All the kids look like they are ready for a nap basking in the sun. As far as running a tight ship - ha - you are owned by pugs, remember?

My first thought was that Sol was using Benny as a sun screen. She wanted to ease herself into the full rays of the sun.

Love the pics! It’s truely amazing how you are able to get the pugs to line -up so nicely! Must be the pug-kin bread. Sol is still in training but you’ll get her in line, too! I know-what am I thinking-I’m owned by a boston & a pug! Love your witty/humorous comments, too! When will you add Sol to the blog line-up?She asked me to ask!

OBP, it wouldn’t surprise me to find out that you truly CAN make them line up to lounge.

Luna seems to be looking at something: see her paw up in the air as if poised to strike?  Maybe she sees a bug.  Oooo maybe she’s a bug pug. wink

Now THAT’s a lame joke. lol

This picture gives new meaning to the phrase “She has her ducks all lined up in a row.”  I personally like the new version - “She has her pugs all lined up in a row!”
I think I’ll use it from now on.  They’re so very cute and you are so very articulate and witty.  All this keeps us coming back each day for more!  Don’t know what we’d do without ya!

This is a bit off the subject, but when Sue S mentioned her Boston, it just brought this to mind again.  Have you ever noticed how many times the non-pug dog that’s paired with a pug(s) is a Boston Terrier?  We have several in our NYC pug group and it just might be the most popular pairing around for pugs and non-pugs.

Does everyone remember the famous line from “Dirty Dancing”—“No one puts Baby in a corner.”?  Well, here’s the pug version, “No one puts Sol in the shadows.”

Carla, on the pug/boston combo’s:  I agree, I have a neighbor that has 2 bostons and 1 baby black pug.  Maybe their personalities are just a good fit.

After learning about your OCD with all 84 of your bowls, I wouldn’t be surprised if the pug-lounging was required to do in perfect order. wink Just kiddin with you Martha. You know we love you and your OCD.
