Really?

Sol

Sol isn't one for moving. Unloading the dishwasher is tedious enough without having to sidestep the pug.

I suppose you COULD be grateful she isn’t a mastiff or a great dane!!

You know, the problem would be solved if you’d just do the dishes in the sink!

Sol likes laying there because she knows she looks so striking against the white tile! ; )

I can totally relate! Ever notice how the weight of a pug can magically triple (or more)when said pug doesn’t wish to be moved? My boys will allow me to scoop them up if they don’t feel like moving themselves, but whoa! A crane wouldn’t be out of place at moments like this, heh-heh.

Miss Sol, better let mom unload all the bowls from the dishwasher so she can get to making your yummy food!!

SOl is just guarding against the dishes trying to run away with the spoons-you should’t have read her that rhyme!      I hand wash-beauty could care less about helping with the dishes! But she makes up for it by bringing in sticks from the yard so I don’t run out of things to do and get bored! She is such a HELP!!

With three dogs and two cats underfoot I can totally relate.  I literally have to watch every step I make.  Sol must like the warmth of the dishwasher???

Maybe she’s figured out how to get herself into a blog pic…such a smart girl. grin

Re: Your “Doing Now” post about the mosquitos, I can totally relate.  I hope your skeeter’s aren’t as big as those we had around our trailer in Starke.  I’m so glad to be back in NYC and away from those beasts.
Here’s a pic I took to prove the size, using the ruler and matchbook.

This is Sol’s way of telling her mom to take a break from the chores! smile  Or maybe she’s guarding her food bowl?  Either way, she’s just too cute!

C.J. and Toeby more usually are trying to get INSIDE the dishwasher to lick any morsels I might have missed rinsing off!  So they love it when I open the dishwasher!

Atleast she isn’t in the dishwasher like mine are! We are trying hard to train them to stay out of the main area of the kitchen while we are cooking but so far no luck.

I’m in the same boat as Sue. My youngest, Bugsy, licks dirty or clean dishes. Thank goodness the rest aren’t as helpful.

Brutus does the same thing. Looks at me like I am crazy if I try to get him to move!

Ah, you didn’t really want to unload the dishwasher right now, did you?
