It must be a boy thing ... except with mine the one who peed there first has to go back and pee again! Crazy puggers! LOL!!!
Boys will be boys!!! We have our ‘weenie dog’ guest today. She will be here for two weeks! We can’t wait!

What a great way to start the weekend although around here it would be Gracie raising the bet. Odly enough, Cooper’s never done that, and a good thing, too. His capacity for volume would surpass all three Pugs together.
One more apology for Wed.‘s post because I want to say how great you all are when one of us needs a lift up. I hadn’t realized I’d sounded so needy.
Corrine, I have an idea for a new dog bed for you. Last week I found this gigantic stuffed Easter rabbit at WalMart and thought, “why not?” I brought it home, plopped it on the “nest” by my chair and waited. Georgie came over immediately to investigate (a macho thing I think, protecting his sisters from the unknown). It took Abby a couple of days to decide it was harmless. Gracie, however, marched right up to it, grabbed what she could of its head and proceeded to try to shake the stuffing right out of it. The only problem with that idea was, Georgie was in the middle of the rabbit and wasn’t moving.. Everybody likes it now, including Cooper who proceeded to rip the nose off of it, his revenge, I think, for being told it wasn’t his. It was white when I brought it into the house and now it isn’t. I’m not sure I can fit it into the washer. This thing is huge.

Typical boy behavior. Romeo doesn’t have any boys to pee after, so when the girls go he hikes his leg to cover theirs, and there are times he only has a drop left, but he still has to cover theirs. So funny.

And Huckle, I think you ought to start your own blog as well. I would be a fan. You have some of the funniest and most interesting stories to tell.

Corrine you are so right boys will be boys out of nine dogs at my house six are males and everyone of them have to top the next one what amazes me is they never run dry the females they just do there thing and thats it and of course the males have to top theres its true boys will be boys

Golly Gee, alot can happen when you are busy being great grandma for a week. I had a lot of catching up today. So glad to hear the good news about Luna, that is all that matters. The pee pictures are too funny, Genevieve is not about to be out done in any form or fashion so she lifts her leg. Not very feminine but oh well. Oh, did ya’ll hear on the news about a cow that had been trained to jump like a horse and her name is Luna. Also a baby eagle somewhere in Fla. has been Luna by the conservation group that has been watching her family. I can understand why it is such a popular name, Luna the pug is very famous. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
Yep. Taj is most unladylike as well, and must make sure that HER scent is the top one. Makes me laugh. There are times when she too has only a drop or two left, but she just HAS to do it. They are silly things, these Pugs. But what would life be without them?

Yes, the competition is always fierce to see who can pee last! I end up having to pull C.J. and Toeby away from the target or they would be there ALL DAY! I am always grateful when they don’t pee on each other’s heads!

Do any of the marking Pugs (female) scuff up the dirt afterward like a macho male? Gracie does and it is so funny. The only one not laughing is Abby and she is soaked. (Where does all this marking pee come from? Is there a special bladder? (grin)
Huckle ~ you crack me up. I can just picture one pug trying to ‘shake the stuffing out of’ the rabbit while another is laying on it! holy cow that is funny!
Pip kicks up the grass after he is done. We call it “donkey kicking.” I have no idea why. Do donkeys even kick like that?! Well, sometimes my Dad’s dog Frank who is a yorkie waits for Pip to finish and gets grass flyin’ in his face. It’s pretty funny to watch!
Abby is also a three legged pee-er, and she “wipes her feet”/scuffs her feet when she is done with her business, but I think she got this from growing up with my mom’s male dog when she was a puppy. She saw the big guy Smokey peeing on three legs, so I think she never learned how to pee like a girl-LOL!!!
I really need to get my act together. If my calendar is right, Corrine celebrated a birthday Saturday. Happy belated birthday Corrine. If your birthday was Saturday, you and my grandson, Ben, share the same birthday.

Sue ~ She is the little ‘weenie’ dog we are dog sitting while her folks are on vacation. I think I mentioned it in passing on another post. Not a permanent member of our fmaily but she fits in really well! Pip tolerates her but he is even more clingy and cuddly when she is here which I think is adorable!

Sue VBD - Had to laugh because Bugsy sometimes can’t even wait for Gracie (our Sheltie/Corgi) to finish before he hikes his leg at her butt. When he and our daughter’s black pug are together they have major peeing wars. They are so funny and bring such joy!!
