Puppy Henry Swimming

Henry

I have been organizing my photos, so I have spent a lot of time perusing the picture archives. A lot of those pics are puppy pictures of the boys and when I came across a set of of the boys in the pool at G-Ma & G-Pa's house, I realized that Henry really took to the water as a pup.

Henry

Here he is playing aqua fetch. My first thought when I saw this picture is, "He doesn't have a life vest on!" Geez, what kind of mother am I?

Henry

And here is is sticking his head underwater. Some things never change.

Whenever I look at puppy pictures of the boys, I can't help but wish that I had pictures of Luna & Sol as pups. Can you just imagine how tiny Luna must have been? And Sol? I can't even imagine what a little baby Sol would be like.

Happy Birthday, G-Pa!

Once a lifeguard, always a lifeguard!

Perhaps Henry is a new breed of pug-The Water Pug! I have heard rumors of such breeds as the water spanial-so Henry is just ahead of his time-such a trail blazer! Love seeing the pics and I have to say, having pup pics of Luna & SOl would have been great! But having these precious girls in a safe & loveing home more than makes up for that! Happy week-end to all!!

What a baby Henry is!  The pic with his face in the water is now my computer wallpaper.  Yes, no lifejacket—looks like you were a new mom, plus he was/is a good swimmer, plus I expect he was very closely watched!  All your pool pix & stories make me want to move to Florida with my pugs.  smile

Once again great photos.  Henry did take to the water immediately.  Little Luna must have been a precious baby.  I will have to seek pictures of my BoPeep and send one to you.  That will give you some idea of what sweet Sol might have looked like.

Happy weekend to all OBP fans.

The missing vest was my first thought, too! Of course, he seems to have survived nicely, even after sticking his head in the water!  Oh vey!

Enjoy the day and happy weekend to all in OBPland.

Aww, you’re definatly not a bad pug-mom. Besides, you almost have to put them in the water once to see how they act with it…! Anyways, adorable photo! That first one of Henry is SO cute! And the last one almost looks like a two-headed pug!!! Ha!

Henry really must be part labrador!  Sol and Luna would have been precious as pups but apparently weren’t appreciated much!  So glad they have found the love they should have had all along!

Happy weekend to all!  Stay cool!

Love Henry blowing bubbles in the water. Looks like he did fine without the vest…and I’m sure you were ready to jump right in if needed!

Great pictures!  I too love looking at our puppy pictures and same as you, Corrine, I wish I knew what my little rescues were like as pups.  Another great post smile

It is sad about not having pictures of your adopted pugs. We say the same thing about Angel. She’s just so cute and sweet, we can only imagine what she was like as a puppy. While rescue groups do a lot and they’re great, I wish they made a bigger emphasis on getting at least one pup picture for the forever home.
