Peer Pressure

Luna

Sol's arrival at the OBP household and her pickiness seems to have brought out the finicky side in Luna. Before, Sol arrived, Luna ate everything the boys ate with only a few exceptions. I think it is because the boys really know how to sell a treat. Their excitement for even the most routine treats has never faded and Luna was always like, well if they love it so much, I guess I should too.

I first noticed Luna picking up on some of Sol's picky eating habits at breakfast. Before Sol, everyone got a piece of banana with a few cheerios sprinkled on top. Benjamin, Henry & Luna all ate their treats. When Solsey came along we offered her the same morning treat. From day one she turned her nose up at it. Fast forward a week and suddenly Luna wants nothing to do with her banana & cheerio treat in the morning. It was like a little light bulb went off in her head and she quickly realized she didn't have to eat everything the boys eat. There are a few other things that Luna doesn't like any more now that Sol has come along.

We'd better be careful or pretty soon the girls may stage a revolt. Better treats for divas!

Ah, yes! The gals bonding together in the revolt of all things not to their Princess palates’ liking…*giggle*...love that the girls are a team…even if it makes treat time a puzzle!

HAH! Yes! My Bentley will not eat banana’s either! It is so funny.
He gets so mad every time we “offer” it to him.. he gives us this “You’ve GOT to be kidding me” look!

Lisa, I was just thinking the same thing: Where has Luna been? I thought perhaps she was on one of those “ladies retreats” aka recovering from a face lift! ha!

Luna now has another chick on her side, so it’s the boys vs the girls…My money’s on the girls!!!

Sounds like more work for Mom now that the girls are a team. Luna would rather follow her sister’s taste vs. the brother’s.

That works both ways. Lucy used to be completely offended if you offered her banana. She wouldn’t even eat banana ice cream! But after she watched me give Pen a bite of banana, she gobbles it down like it’s her favorite thing in the whole world!Pugs!

Miss Luna, it’s okay…We’ve all caved in to peer pressure at one time or another. But if all your puggy friends jumped off a bridge, I’d hope you wouldn’t follow!! Love ya sweetcakes!
