No Tilt

Henry

When it comes to head tilts, Henry is at the opposite end of the spectrum of Ben. It is almost impossible to get a head title out of Henry.

It's like he is too smart for his own good. If you pepper him with the same line of questioning that is sure to get a big head tilt out of Ben, you get a stare from Henry.

Me: Henry, have you seen mommy?

Henry: Yes, I'm looking at her.

Me: Did Grammy come to see you today?

Henry: She did.

Me: How about G-Ma?

Henry: She did not.

Me: Is G-Ma going to come see you?

Henry: As far as I am aware she does not have a trip booked.

Me: Did you eat your lunch today?

Henry: Of course.

Me: How about Benny?

Henry: What about Benny?

Me: Where's Benny?

Henry: Over there. About to scratch his face. You better put that cone back on him.

Me: Where's your sister?

Henry: Next to Benny.

Me: Looney?

Henry: Yes, that is her nickname.

ROFL!!!!  Henry, you are definitely too smart for your own good.  wink

Henry you are top dog! I love the gray whisker.
A few minutes ago on GMA there was a vet talking about the laser therapy. They also showed several dogs of all breeds and how it has helped them after just one treatment. Super.

Oh that is brilliant! I can just hear him matter of factly answering those questions. I love the one about Benny and putting the cone back on him. Funny.

Henry, your conversational ability reminds me of a picture of a fawn pug I saw (I don’t remember where at the moment) who had quite the same conversational skills as Henry.  He’s looking full on at the camera and saying, “Of course I bathe regularly, why do you ask?”  Henry, you are a prince.

Corrine, this dialogue is hysterical!  Henry reminds me very much of my German brother-in-law, which is a compliment to both of them : )

Maybe the question you need to ask is: “Henry, would you please tilt your head?”

To which Henry may reply, “Of course.  How’s this?”
