Benny I feel the same way on mondays

Five more minutes, please mom?

Benny really looks the part of a Monday morning. 

I know a lot of you are going to hate me, but every day is like a Saturday because I am retired; however, before you think of the bliss of that, remember you are also a lot older.  Hope that helps.

I do!  And I don’t even work outside of the home (or inside, for that matter!).

Heather, somehow I missed the notice of you coming back.  Terrific news for us. I hope you, too.

Friday Georgie had his second acupuncture and while he likes this vet, he thinks the needles would be better stuck in the vet than in him.  He doesn’t go again for two weeks so we’ll see how he does.  Saturday I was really worried about him, he was completely listless for a good portion of the day (which I guess can be expected with acupuncture), but he’s rallied ‘round.

Getting him to take the Rescue Remedy has been a challenge until I read about dogs and honey.  Very good for arthritic dogs, he loves it and no problem, except that the other pugs are now pretending to limp so they could get some honey.  Silly pugs!  Someone had mentioned creamed cheese which works even better than peanut butter for getting the other meds down him.  They are all such individuals.

Benny, hang in there.  You can get through Monday, I know you can!

Huckle, I hope Georgie does really well with the accupuncture.  And thanks for the honey hint.  You made me laugh saying the other dogs are now limping around to get some!

With the heat and humidity getting higher everyday, I too feel like Benny. Hang in there Benny, we’ll both get through to Tuesday and beyond.
