**happy sigh** I too would like to be at that intersection, curled up with a contented pug
Happy Monday everyone!!
Luna you look so sweet and comfy on this monday mourning
Pure poetry, Corrine - and so is the picture. Luna looks so angelic. Sunbeams and Dog Beds. I’m filing that away under Happy Remembrances!
Where’s Grammy? This would make a great painting. The colors are terrific. Another raffle in the offing perhaps? Luna’s preciousness just comes out in this picture, doesn’t it.
You look so sweet Looney! Looks like a comfy place to nap.
Pug Hugs to all from Bella & me.
Beautiful girl! You look warm and snuggly Miss Luna…would love to smooch your precious head!
Luna belongs on the cover of a magazine.
KATHLEEN: I 2nd that. Something about her pose and the light reminds me of a Renaissance artist’s depiction also.
Sweet Luna you look just beautiful! I want to know how your Mom gets you to lay in a dog bed! Dakota believes the ONLY place a rotten pug should lay is on Grannies bed, the fluffiest blanket under and around her!
Sweet dreams dear one!
The left leg I hurt a wekk or so ago with a broken dog bowl in the trash is now really bad! Heating to the doctor this afternoon! All dressed up and ready to go!
What a beautiful and insightful poem. Not too mention Oh so very true!
What a sweet picture.
Minnie went to the Rainbow Bridge this morning. She had a bad aftetnoon yesterday, not being able to walk, dragging herself around, trying to stand and falling. She did get up for short periods of time and once went to her food bowl and wanted to eat.
She could not get up this morning, but wanted food, so I did the usual routine. Annie and Missy said their goodbyes to her because they knew. Minnie was in and out of recognition.
She and her Mommy are now reunited. She was my sister’s dog and I took Minnie in when she died. I loved that little girl, but I was always Tanta Sue. Helen would have let me know in no uncertain terms that Minnie was HER dog.
Minnie, I know you are youny and running like the wind. I love you baby girl. You will be missed.
Hellen, I am so sorry to hear about your leg. I have you in my prayers for healing. Please let us know how you are doing.
Sue VDB: I am so sorry to hear about your Minnie. Bless your heart for taking your sister’s dog.
Mary C: you hit it right on the spot about the artist!
Helen, get well soon. Sorry to hear about your leg.
Oh Sue VDB!! I am so sorry! God Bless. You are such a true angel here on earth. I know God and St. Francis appreciate all that you do for animals. I’m sure Missy is feeling good and running around with her Mom like you said. God Bless you Sue!
Sue VDB, you know what Gina said to you, I am with her all the way. When things like this happens, I wonder why we put so much love and caring in to these ‘little mights’ because they are here for way too short a time. The answer is obvious, of course. We have to. We would be less of ourselves if we didn’t. The care and concern of your big heart will follow Minnie to the Rainbow Bridge and make the transition of Minnie from this earthly life to be one of the angels easier on you both. I am so sorry, Sue. My heart just bleeds for you and all you’ve gone through. I admire your strength.
Sue VBD, I am so sorry that Minnie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I think you must surely be right that Minnie and Helen are happy and together once again. You were the best Tanta that Minnie could have possibly had. You loved that sweet little girl and gave her lots of love and the best possible care. You’re in my prayers.
Hellen, I am sorry to hear about your leg. You’re in my prayers, too.
Wow what a wonderful picture-pure sweetness and beauty. Sue VDB, prayers of comfort coming your way-Minnie is surely at peace playing at the rainbow bridge waiting for that joyous day when we pass by that beautiful bridge, our beloved fur babies see us and come to join us forever in heaven. God be with you. Pastor Sue & the Colorado 2
This is a picture that should be framed. One of the best of Luna.
Sue VDB I am so sorry about Minnie I am sending a big hug
