I Spy

Henry

As many of you already know, we are a bit over the top when it comes to the pugs. After Benny and Luna passed, Henry is a bit more anxious and doesn't really like to be left alone. So, when we leave Henry home alone, we like to be able to check in on him from time to time to make sure he is resting comfortable. So we decided to get a wifi camera and put it in his crate room. Then we can pull up the feed on our phone and see how Henry is doing. Crazy, but it sure does make us feel better knowing we can check in on him at anytime.

You are not over the top when it comes to pugs, because if you are, so are many others.  And when I say many, it really is many.

Under the circumstances, I think crating Henry is a good idea and I am not a fan of crating.  You are definitely able to see what is going on with Henry and ease your mind, especially after Henry has been through so much.

Commenting is not available on this web log entry.  The last two days this message as popped up on the Daily Pug Picture.  I so want to comment.  Gracey’s picture today particularly appealed to me as this is what toys look like in my house, and pretty Gracey looks quite comfortable in her pile.

Crazy? Over the top? Not to me. I really like the idea. When I’m out I’d love to be able to do that with Bennie!

Hey, if “people” daycares have webcams, then we certainly can have webcams for our babies!  I think it’s a great idea.
Actually, there were times when I would come home and Sleighbelle had pulled the toilet paper throughout the house…I would have loved to see that on camera!!

We’ve had one for 6 or 7 years.  It helps me get through the day.  I have sound on it too, so I can hear the soft rumble of their snoring all day long!  <3

Awww. Precious sleepy boy!  Over the top?  I don’t think so. I felt the same way about my Angel. There was nothing I wouldn’t have done for her, I was mush in her paws!  lol.

“Pugcam” - so cute.  Henry looks pretty mellow there.

Agree that no commenting has been allowed on the daily pug pic.  They’ve all been precious though! Gracie looks pretty spoiled!

Peekaboo handsome Hank. We seeeee you.

If anyone can spare some extra prayers, I’m going through a tough tough time. Cole and I could use prayers of overcoming crisis victoriously.

Love to all. I’m taking my cues from Henry…STRONG ALL DAY LONG!

I Spy,

Thank you for sharing a solution that is simple and very comforting. I have two Pugs that nap whenever I am away. However, I do have a Min-Pin that would destroy the house; if I did not put him in a crate. The vet said that he suffers from separation anxiety. I make sure to not leave a harness or collar on him when I put him in the crate. My worry is that he can keep hitting a side of the crate, making it move across the floor. Once I set up web cam for him, I can periodically check in on him. If he has moved the crate to a dangerous area, like an electrical outlet; I can call one of my neighbors to move him back into the center of the room.

Thank-you for the enlightenment.

Bruce
