I Couldn’t Resist

Sol

I know I just posted a few pictures of Sol riding in her pouch, but I couldn’t resist posting another one.

We were out the other day for a walk and we got about 3/4’s of a mile away from home when Sol started slowing down.  So we decided it was time to time to put her in her pouch.  She was about 10 yards away and as soon as she saw her pouch getting set up for her she sprinted over and stood there wagging her tail.  She couldn’t wait to get in!  I think the pouch is her preferred method of travel grin

Sol is one of The Happiest girls in the world…Blissful Radiance is all I can think of looking at that gorgeous smile!  I could look at ‘pouch pictures’ of that lil’ darling all day…and will tune into this one a zillion times today to smile, I’m sure.

Look at that beautiful smile.  I agree with Marcia that 3/4 mile is a good walk for that sweet little lady.  And she is wearing her bumblebee harness too.

I absolutely adore this beautiful little critter!  She is obviously very happy and content and loves the pouch.  I will never get tired of seeing them!

Sol and her pouch are just adorable!

What do the other three seem to think of the pouch?  Any interest from them?

What a happy pug Sol is!  I too love her “pouch” pictures and really, any pictures of her (and everybody else too:))...she’s such a precious, sweet pug!

So, is Sol’s tongue out because she just walked 3/4 of a mile; OR is is out cause she is taunting her siblings???  I think she is taunting them!  You go SOL!!!

OMG! So precious!

Oh, and quick question for you. How do you wash the Puppia harnesss? Do you just toss them in the wash? Can they go in the dryer, too?

Lex

Haha she looks so happy!

What a beautiful smile!  And I do so love her yellow harness, kinda like a little bumbly bee!  Too cute!

This photo is so cute and it shows Sol’s smiling eyes.  She did not have that glow when you first adopted her. This is so great to see grin

OBP - Where did you find the carrier?  We just found out Brandy may have Patellar Luxation in her right rear leg. She starts to limp and favor the leg on our walks. The carrier would be great.

Martha - Benjamin, Henry & Luna don’t pay much attention to the pouch.  They stand and stare at us while we get Sol into the pouch and as soon as we are done, they start marching on.  On our latest walk home from the school, Henry was a little tired and I think I saw him eyeing a few times grin
Nevis - I haven’t washed the Puppia harness yet, but I have washed the boys and Luna’s freedom harnesses several times.  The two harnesses are very simliar so I imagine the Puppia harness would fare just as well.  I don’t put the Freedom Harnesses in the dryer simply because of all the clanking.  They have a big metal buckle.  The Puppia harness might not be as much of a problem, though, because they have a plastic buckle.

Linda - We got the carrier when the boys were puppies (7 years ago) at Petsmart.  All it is is a big pouch with should straps that cross in the back and a belt that goes around the waist.

Just a suggestion grin  You should post some first arrival photos of Sol and compare them to today’s photo of her in the backpack; I can see the difference in her face.  She looked so sad and lost before,  now she is smiling like Luna.

Linda, you are right on.  Sol has a smile and a sparkle that definitely was not present when she first arrived at OBP.

Karen, it is my new background too.

She is such a cutie- pa tootie! Love that little girl.

We just got a new boy, a 10 month old fawn from friends of co-workers that could not keep him.

It’s only been a week, but between he and Beau I feel like I am the one that needs the backpack!

Rebecca, congratulations on your new addition.  At ten months old I know he is full of vim and vigor.  Hang in there, you will have much joy with two of them.
