Halloween Outtakes - Part 1

Benjamin

I know Halloween is over and it is pretty much full steam ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I wanted to share some of the outtakes from our Halloween photos. I snapped over 400 pictures to get the few gems that I posted last week.

Most of Ben's funny pics involved him wearing his hat on his chin. He seemed much happier with it there. Although, he did try to wear it on the side of his head for a bit too.

400 pictures Corrine?  Wow, that was a long photo shoot.

Benny these pictures may be out takes, but you sure look cute. Annie did not like her Little Red Riding Hood hood either, and shook it off quicker than I could put it on.

Oh My Gosh…  I can’t stop laughing.  Sorry Benny, you are really cute with your hat on your chin.  I had a wizard hat for Mr. Skittles, and he didn’t like it on his head either.  But you guys look sooo cute in hats!!!

HAHAHAHA, Benny, you are a stitch! Sue VDB, Lucy hates clothes, too, constant shaking and rubbing on furniture and people’s legs trying to get it off! Pen will wear them but he does something funny when we put anything on his head-he freezes! Totally freezes up and won’t move until we take it off! It’s hilarious to watch the panicked look on his face (I know, mean Mommy to laugh at him, but who can help it?)

Oh Benny, your smile is priceless. You want mom to have to work hard for her shots, lol. Out takes still look perfect on you handsome. *giggle*

Benny has one of the cutest pug smiles!

The outtakes are as much fun as the “perfect” shots!

Sleighbelle

Love the outtakes.  Sleighbelle is not a hat person either.  When I try to put a birthday hat on her, I have to put it on her behind with the string around her waist!  She doesn’t mind it sitting on her hiney!  Pugs!

Oh, that’s funny, the image of Sleighbelle wearing her hat on her hiney is cracking me up!

LOL Sleighbelle.  Annie’s costume had an attached hood, but I will have to remember the hiney hat trick. That’s hilarious.

Did you check to see if he wasn’t hiding some Halloween morsels in his misplaced hat?  Hats are impossible to put on or keep on but how about boots or socks?  Any luck with them?

Sleighbell, that is so funny.  I can just picture it.

And Pen, deer in the headlights, eh?  So funny, too.

400 pictures?  I’m in awe.  The taking of them his Herculean as well as the going through them.  Corrine, you continue to amaze!

Sue, thanks for asking.  I have a suggestion you might want to consider with the coughing issues for Cuddles.  Since I have been running the humidifier next to the bed at night, Georgie has only coughed once, and it was nothing of a concern.  It’s hard to believe that’s all it took, but crossing my fingers, I am thinking it will be okay now.  He is still on a bronchial dilator and I guess will be forever.  As for Gracie, I tried Mary’s suggestion of kenneling but that went over like a lead balloon.  Anyone have a pug that HOWLS?  Gracie was in fine form.  I’ve been trying to keep her as quiet as possible but it’s like catching the wind.  The great part of it is is that she seems over the threat of fracturing it.  The vet is pleased but surprised.  I’m keeping an eye on her antics but she isn’t limping.  I’m wondering if the vet hadn’t diagnosed it right, although I saw the xrays as well.  At any rate, today she seems OK.  Remind me why I want to have pugs?

Ben you are really beautiful dressed up for Halloween.

Dakota worn an outfit I crocheted that made her a Blooming Pug! Both she and Gwen (a devil angel I made also) both won prises in the Halloween 2012 contest!

Sleighbelle:  A hat on a hiney . . . maybe she things it’s just an extension for her tail.  But if Unique is what you seek - go for a pug everytime.

Benjamin:  Once again - you travel to the beat of a different drum and are most happy about.  I, too, LOVE that smile of yours.  You are just so pleased with yourself.

I love all doggies’ smiles . . . Have you-all seen that YouTube video about the black lab who knows the difference when his owner asks him:  “Do you want to have a bath?” and “Do you want to go for a walk?”  He has such a wonderful smile also.  Just hope he got taken for a walk at the end of the video.

Huckle:  Sorry the kennel didn’t work for Gracie - but good to hear she is mending well.  I’m not surprised.  Pugs seem to be good natured little clowns - but they usually want to be where the action is - center ring.  Just try to find a pug a hobby - other than eating!!  Bella is at the vet’s for her pedicure and I will pick her up after work.  She is reportedly much more docile easy to trim when I’m not on site.

Hey Mary, it was a good idea.  If we ever have to kennel Gracie, at least we will know to escape from the house and get out of the neighborhood - quickly!

Do you know the name of that YouTube video?  I’m going to try to find it.

HUCKLE:  I just googled “dog-bath-walk” - that should pull it up.  He just has such a “want to please” personality . . . unlike My Precious who thinks it’s a hoot and a half to tease me - but plays the wounded baby if I try and fool with her (limited sense of humor, I think).  Heck!  She even runs and HIDES if I have the hiccups - which isn’t something I often do - but I do have trouble getting rid of them on occasion and I think she thinks I’m making some sort of threatening noise which is directed at HER!  I find dogs and their personalities actually more interesting than humans. Birds and cats are just as much fun - although many cats aren’t as “transparent” in letting you “in” their heads.
