Good Use

Benjamin, Henry and Luna

Seeing the pugs all snug in their beds makes me want to run out and buy more beds!

Actually, I want to put it on record that no new beds have been purchased thus far in 2013. Granted, I haven't had time to even step into a store, but does the reason really matter wink

Wow Corrine, seems you are overdue. I see visions of new puggy beds in the near future. wink

Our beds are several years old, guess it’s time for now ones!

Love the “big” fluffy one.

Corrine, you may not have had time to purchase new beds, but I can tell you are definitely thinking about them.  The “thus far” gives it away.  You still have 9 months, so all is not lost.  One of these days we will open up OBP, and behold, at least one new bed!

And here, when first seeing the picture, I was about to tease you on purchasing new beds…your nose didn’t grow two inches when you typed that, did it?

Corrine, I have noticed over these past years that I had found OBP that it has enhanced my life tremendously and I can safely say that I am not the only one to feel this way.  From what I have observed, your heart and soul have been poured into OBP in your love for the pugs and for that reason, the decision to lighten your load from time to time now, could not have been an easy one to come to.  We have come to depend so much on OBP as a lifeline and that has been your gift to us.  You are too caring an individual to not have felt that and I don’t think I’m wrong in saying so.  The only alternative to your overloaded schedule, as I see it, would be for you to quit your job (she said hopefully!).

Words are a poor vessel to thank you for this wonderful blog, but we do.  Whatever happens with OBP, please know how we have blossomed because of it, and our pugs have also been the beneficiary of your care and devotion to OBP.

You must have wrestled with this decision to cut back, yet give us still our community of pugs and people.  Any decision would be a hard one to come to.  You’ll find your equilibrium when what happens feel right and you’re not burning the candle at both ends.

You have given us so much over the years and it has been awesome to be one of the recipients of your blog.  How you have managed, photographed, blogged, cared for the four pugs and their needs and the endless hours you’ve worked is amazing even without the outside job.  And now you’re in a pickle trying to juggle all of this and not lose the quality (always fresh, never dull, often funny, readily thought provoking and always a glimpse into the minds and actions of four wonderful pugs) and care you’ve managed to give to the integrity of OBP and the success of what it is today.

We will adjust to whatever decisions you feel necessary to make.  You noticed I didn’t say “like it” but we understand.  And on the days when it all feels like too much to do, we will still be here like you have been for us.

Thank you.

Well said, Huckle!
Between eye surgery and sinus infections, apparently I haven’t done much shopping either lately. My dear husband opened the credit card bill and said, “Well I guess there’s a good side to you being sick, the bill’s much smaller.” If I’d had something in my hand at the time I’d have tossed it at him!

What a nice picture of the three of them hanging out together in their beds!  Go ahead and buy more beds anytime.  It’ll “make our day”!  hehe

Oh my Huckle, how beautifully you expressed everything!  I completely agree!  I love OBP, and I love being part of this community of all the OBP readers!  Thank you, Corrine ♥

Huckle~your eloquence with words is refreshing. Thank you for saying what a lot of us were thinking but didn’t know how to say it.

We love you and your family Corrine!

Hey gang, thank you for the kind words.  I truly appreciate it.  I just wanted to support Corrine and tell her how much we all cared and understand how the lack of time is a pickle to adjust to.  Frankly I didn’t know how she could do all she did for OBP when she wasn’t working.  (Think we can get her to quit?)

Well said Huckle, we all appreciate this blog, and how much it enriches each and everyone of us.  Hopefully the OBP family feels the same way.
